AW: IPv6 support
In the setup I'm looking now there are IPv4-only and IPv6-only SIP-clients (or UA's) but the Proxies (or servers) are v4 and v6 dual-stacked (to make things a bit easier). I think there will be a lot of IPv6-only SIP-clients (e.g. mobile clients and all the existing IPv4-NAT'ed networks) and a lot of IPv4-only "old legacy" SIP-clients. We have to find ways to deal with such

Hi all, thank you very much for support! I filed the bug: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1457724 I'll try to test it again to get some errors / warnings from log. Samba AD with internal DNS on IPv4/IPv6 but only announcing IPv4 address
Hello, I use Samba AD in Version 4.8.3 and would like to run it on IPv4 und IPv6 in order to be able to have Samba acting as IPv6 DNS Server. However since I have problem with sysprep domain join as soon as Samba advertises its own Domain Controller Hostname as IPv4 and IPv6 address, I would like to tell Samba to run on both protocols but only resolve to an IPv4 address. So in short: When I

Dovecot (director, lmtp) IPv4/IPv6?
Hello, I'm build system with two director/proxy and dual stack network (or IPv6-only local services) http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Director say "This also means that a single director ring must use either IPv4 or IPv6 addresses, but not both at the same time." OK All servers have 2 interface (public and local network), and all dual stack IPv4/IPv6, imap/pop (mail) and lmtp (mx) proxy run

IPv6 support for Icecast server
Hi, I looked at CVS and this mailing list and didn't find anything regarding IPv6 support. I found old patches from KAME and one IPv6-only implementation (http://www.bugfactory.org/~gav/ipv6/icecast-1.3.11-ipv6.diff.gz) only. Therefore I decided to do this work again and as good as possible. I integrated IPv6 into configure script which allows to use te same code both for IPv4 and IPv6

samba 3.4 ADS support broken on ipv6 networks ?
Our Windows 2003 domain controllers and Samba member servers support both ipv4 and ipv6. Our DNS server resolves hostnames both to ipv4 and ipv6 addresses. Recently, this turned out to be a problem when within a regular Fedora 11 update, samba 3.2 was replaced with samba 3.4. samba-3.4.2-0.42.fc11.i586 to be exact. Everything Active Directory related stopped working and I had to stop winbind

Floating IPv6 in a cluster (as NFS-Ganesha VIP)
Hi all, I love this project, Gluster and Ganesha are amazing. Thank you for this great work! The only thing that I miss is IPv6 support. I know that there are some challenges and that?s OK. For me it?s not important whether Gluster servers use IPv4 or IPv6 to speak each other and replicate data. The only thing that I?d like to have is a floating IPv6 for clients when I use Ganesha (just IPv6,

IPv6?
Hi Phil, The answers are in the links but I'll expand a little below! 😉 > How can this be? Everything I have read about SMB for the last 20 years or so has said that it is based entirely on NetBIOS, and has no concept even of IPv4; that it is NBT that translates NetBIOS to run over IPv4. SMB does not have to be carried by NetBIOS. The too protocols can be decoupled. This is
