smoothing algorithm to the original. One set of smoothed data is the
'old' algorithm and the other set is the 'new' algorithm.
Does R have the capability of telling me which data is "smoother"?

I'm trying to setup a primitive announcement-paging system in my house
using the line-out from my * box to a cheap amplifier that runs to
speakers on our first and second floors from the basement. I have a
extension that connects to Console, and console is set to auto-pickup.
I'm using alsa drivers.
This all works great, except for one thing. I want to play a tone over

-fcontext isn?t an option, it?s a verb; drop the dash.
Also, I?m confused by the parens in your file path. Whether your shell is or not is a different question.

Best way to populate development database
What would be the best way to populate a development database for a
Rails 3 app? I have looked at faker, but it seems that development has
stopped, any other options?

simple generation of artificial data with defined features
Dear R-colleagues,
I am quite a newbie to R fighting my stupidity to solve a probably quite

I am conducting a study of inter-observer-agreement in
child-bronchoscopy. One of the most important measures is Kappa

a) The user push twice enter
b) The user push double click on button "save" or "submit"
We consider that this becomes a problem when creating (because we
duplicate data) and we think that in some context it could become a
security issue
