I am thinking of buying a Logitech C920S Pro HD or C922 webcam for the necessary video conferencing. Is anyone using that with Zoom or perhaps with Jitsi? Do I need drivers? Any issues? Thank you.

Does anybody know where I can find a driver for a Logitech E2500 webcam. I'm running CentOS 5 on my desktop and want to add a webcam for skype use. If I can yum install a driver from one of the repos that would be great. Andy

Everyone, I was hoping to be able to plug the Logitech Brio in and have it work, but it did not. I can have it connect to a Windows 10 laptop and have it function, so I know the camera works. ? greetings, i have run into same problem as a friend who bought a logitech c310 webcam. he told me about them being on sale, so i decided to buy one also. the 2 webcam programs that i have installed from repos are 'camorama' and 'cheese'. both work well for single photos, but i can not get 'cheese' to make smooth, continuous video recording. what is recorded is a jerky

I installed C7 along with MATE desktop... My monitor is a 4K unit but when I goto the System -> preferences -> hardware -> Displays there is selection for the 4K display. It stops at 1920x1080. The var log x file shows the 4K resolutions in the file so that is good. How do I get the selections for 4K to show up? Thanks, Jerry

To continue here with problems on this compaq v2000 laptop, I put kernel source on a USB disk and plugged it into the v2000. NOTHING IS recognized. I tried to manually mount the disk and nothing either... I thought USB was well established.... I thought trying to recompile the kernel for realtek support might get my networking going... I am trying to plug a USB 2 device in a USB 3 slot. Nothing is being detected in "lsusb". Is there something special I need to do? I am running centos 5.5 x86_64. I thought 3.0 was backward compatible. Nothing special about my device its an RS232 to USB device. It works in 2.0 slot. Thanks, Jerry

This is in my source directory... when I do a "grep JERRY *" every file is returned an a line printed even though there is no JERRY on the line.
