RabbitMQ module won't start stomp
Can I get some help getting the RabbitMQ module provide a stomp server
talking to MCollective on an Ubuntu system? It was working a few days ago,
but I found that I cannot reproduce this on a new set of machines --
RabbitMQ will not provide stomp services I have tried the official
puppetlabs/rabbitmq module and the git version from yesterday and from
today. Nothing works. My site.pp file

[RESQUE]Question about queues
I run Resque with x ''general'' queues. With ''general'' I mean a queue that
may run every type of Worker. Or in the Rake command: COUNT=x QUEUE=*
rake resque:work
When a worker runs a job of a specific class, it may not run another job
of the same class simultaniously. This job has to wait until the
previous job has finished before it may start.

passing multiple arguments in resque scheduler
Hi,
I have implemented resque scheduler in my application by looking at
example here https://github.com/bvandenbos/resque-scheduler. I have
configured resque_schedule.yml file, and in that I can pass arguments
to the resque job. My requirement is to pass more than one arguments
to the queueing resque job. If we consider the example given,

Why is #verify_active_connections! :nodoc: ?
Hi, I''ve just got a quick question.
How come
ActiveRecord::ConnectionAdapters::ConnectionHandler#verify_active_connections!
is marked with :nodoc: ?
I understand that this is used internally (depending upon an application''s
configuration?) on every request (?) to clear out old, stale database
connections. All this to prevent the old, classic "MySQL server has gone

Time based configuration in God
Hi,
I am using resque, resque-scheduler gems in my rails app. To monitor the
working of resque workers, I am using God tool. I want to add such a god
configuration, which will monitor the time of job running in the resque
worker. If process execution exceeds the time limit, then it should restart
the worker.
I read post at http://god.rubyforge.org/. However, couldn''t peek the right

Golden Software - Grapher 8
Hi everyone,
I installed Golden Software Grapher 8 on wine 1.3.4. The installation ends with an error message which I think is not a problem. The program starts automatically after the installation and it seems to work flawlessly.
Awkwardly, the program doesn't work anymore after the first time, it runs but it's window cannot be controlled in any way. I got the following messages:

You can have as many PDC's on a network with same subnet as you like keeping
in mind they must have different domain names - ie workgroup =

Medieval 2: Total War Golden Pack (with expansion) problem
Ok I know that this is supposed to be "garbage" on 1.1.7 Wine.
But I have Wine 1.0.1 on Kubuntu 8.10 on "i868" computer.
Also should I try installing only the main game without the expansion pack,
would it work.
Please help as I bought it in conviction it's gold on wine.
Thanks for help

rabbitmq puppet module
Hi all,
I have been working on a puppet module for managing rabbitmq. It should be
ready enough for people to try out.
I just cut a 2.0.0rc1 release:
https://github.com/puppetlabs/puppetlabs-rabbitmq
It has two external dependencies:
https://github.com/puppetlabs/puppetlabs-stdlib

Feedback would be greatly appreciated, and best facilitated as issues

Love is Golden: all ideas have and always will be.
I am delighted to be able to tell you that I have
taken a decision to relinquish Copyright ownership of
all Samba-related code that I have ever written.
I would like to take this as an opportunity to
formally request the Samba Team to reopen the case for
forming an ASF-like "Samba Software Foundation".
As you are no doubt aware, I started work on NT Domain

Module team update: 2013-07-07 - 2013-07-12
Hello!
Now that we''re two weeks in it''s time for another update on what''s been
going on in the module team. We focused on puppetlabs-ntp and
puppetlabs-firewall as our two primary modules, but also merged in fixes to
passenger, rabbitmq, mysql, apt, and apache.
As a result of this work we''ve released:

Re: Error testing deploying Grizzly
I believe the error indicates that hiera was installed as a rubygem which
is not supported on Puppet 3.x. Maybe the error will go away if you remove
the hiera gems?
I think I have gotten around it by adding ''require rubygems'' to the puppet
executable.
I''m copying the puppet-users mailing list b/c I am guessing this is a
common problem.
