Is there any way to update the javascript when I reload the page using rails?
Hi,
I need fix any bugs in a rails project. The problem is every time I change
anything in javascript I have to make
bundle exec rake rails_group=assets assets:clean RAILS_ENV=development and
then
bundle exec rake rails_group=assets assets:precompile RAILS_ENV=development
and finaly restart the rails server. This way spend 10 min.
Exists any other solution?

[LLVMdev] The Great Tool Renaming, Part 2 (and hopefully last)
Hear ye, hear ye!
As I wrote previously, some tools, they've been a-changin':

Namely, `as' has gone away in favor of `llvm-as', similarly for `dis',
but NOW... `link' has become `llvm-link' because Redhat 8 (and probably
higher) ships with /bin/link (which seems like an `ln' clone) and we do

C++ Set_Metadata Problem
I refer to a problem that appeared on the flac list last August that was
either solved off-list or abandoned.
(http://lists.xiph.org/pipermail/flac/2005-August/000468.html)
The problem is with using the C++ encoder classes, particularly the
FLAC::Encoder::File:set_metadata
function. JC said that the developers version of how to add a simple
metadata block looked right, but it did not work for

Subversion AND Rails hosting
I''ve been scouring the net looking for different hosting solutions,
but have so far only found one site that has what I''m looking for. I
would like to be able to host both a subversion repository for
development and my rails application(s) all in one location. So far,
I''ve only found a company called AVLUX (http://avlux.net/host.php)
that has this. Does anyone know of

Newbie question but an Easy one
Our school needs to replace our Novell server.
We have a collection of XP Pro computers and a few XP Home, Win98, Win95
and Win2000 computers.
All we need is file sharing.
Can Samba be setup so that all these computers can access a file share (F:\
or G:\) and run the program on the client pc?
What would be the minimum HW required for Samba server?
Greatly thankful I am!
