gw, lsrc in julian''s patches
In http://www.ssi.bg/~ja/dgd.txt I read: -- - key "gw" for ip_route_output used to select the right route for the gateway - key "lsrc" for ip_route_input used to find the best unicast route between this IP and the destination address (similar to output routing call but still makes the checks needed for input packet). -- Could someone please provide a couple

PIC and mcmodel=large on x86 doesn't use any relocations
We're at the point in our port of OpenVMS to x86 using LLVM to make choices on mcmodel. Given OpenVMS's history, our linker will allocate static data (ie, .data, .bss, .plt, GOT, etc.) in the bottom 32-bits of address space (ie, 00000000.xxxxxxxx). However, we support code anywhere in the 64-bit address space as PIC code (we do this on Itanium today using our own code-generator and

Conflict between julian from base and from chron
I used to run the julian function from chron but this new version of R has also a julian function in the base package that doesn't do exactly what I need. Is there a way of telling R to run the function from chron and not from base? Thanks, Fernando __________________________ Fernando Colchero Doctoral Fellow Duke University Department of Ecology

changing 'https' to 'http' when using download.file(), any side effects or just use RCurl?
Dear R-Help, >From reading the help file, it is my understanding the the download.file() function does not support HTTPS connections. So therefore, understandably, the follow produces an error: ### R Code > url <- "https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/r-help/2008-October/thread.html" > destfile <- "//PFO-SBS001/Redirected/tonyb/Desktop/R_web_test/tmp.txt" >

Win XP SP1 can not log on twice
Hi, everybody. I have installed samba recently and right now i try to make it a PDC for several XP clients. I had no problems making it PCD and configuring it overall (thanks to quite good docs). Then i created a single test user and had the following problem: this user has perfect first login, he can change settings, save them to server and XP even decides quite good, what to store on server,

source(.trPaths[5], echo=TRUE, max.deparse.length=150)
I just upgraded to Tinn-R 2.3.2.3. Is the above line (see Subject) going to be echoed back to me everytime I try to send a command to R of can I stop it? I've also lost my function of arrowing back up to recall previous commands. Can I get that back? richard -- Richard M. Fail kerberos method = secrets and keytab and net offlinejoin requestodj
Hello everyone, For the context, I'm trying to add support for offline join in WAPT WADS OS deployment [1]. libxenstat python bindings
Hi I seem to be having a little trouble with libxenstat, and was wondering if the xenstat guys might be able to help. I''ve pulled the xen-unstable.hg tree and done a somewhat clean install (ie, post-make uninstall, as well as deleting the relevant libxenstat libraries). Next, I entered the tools/xenstat/libxenstat directory and modified the Makefile so that the shared libraries would

problems using --ignore-existing and filter rules
Greetings everyone, I have a problem which I believe is a collision between the --ignore-existing option and filter rules. It appears to me that regardless of argument order, when I specify the two on a command line, even if a non-existing directory appears in the filter list as a protect rule. But when I change protect rules to exclude rules, the excluded files/directories appear not to be
