Tabbed Navigation
Went back and forth a bit trying to find out the easiest way to do this. Found a plugin but it didn''t seem very stable/well written. This is what I have going right now: - if @content_for_recipe_editor_tabs = yield :recipe_editor_tabs - else = tabbed_navigator(RecipesController.send "edit_tabs") If any templates/sub-templates/partials used in this render have

Newbie help re: "dynamic" navigation menu
Hi I am trying to get my head around how you would "efficiently" do a left-hand navigation menu structure derived from various database table entries. Example is loosely based on AWDwR''s depot app. Say you wanted to instead to have the left-hand nav links show the following: Books book title 1 book title 2 ... CDs CD title 1 CD title 2 ... with

I have a navigation menu that contains a link per controller in my application. This menu is the same for all controllers, but I want this behaviour: <a>Users</a> <span>Statistics</span> and <span>Users</span> <a>Statistics</a> depending on the page you''re currently on. I''ve put a <render :partial =>

Is OSX Lion a valid choice yet? Any issues?
Hi, My Snow Leopard just let me down and now it could be a "good" moment to upgrade to Lion. But I''m not sure is it an option yet. I would be using Rails 3.0.9, Ruby 1.9.2 via RVM. Postgresql DB. And probably some stuff via homebrew. Git, Versions and that type of stuff. Are the lights red for Lion since it is so fresh? Any experiences? Thanks. -- Posted via

getting started with jQuery rails 3.2
Hi all, I''m trying to work out how to get started using some jQuery in my rails app. rails -v = 3.2.2 ruby -v = 1.9.3-p194 I''m only sporadically a web-developer, and still quite inexperienced with jQuery especially, so I may be making an obvious mistake. Essentially, I''ve done very little after creating a new app, I''ve learnt that jQuery is included by

Attempt to modify memory sanitizer for support of X86
Hello, I'm quite new to LLVM, but I'm interested in memory sanitizer. The petty thing is, that 32bit addressing on Linux is not supported. Thus I tried to take the latest version of the software and to modify it, using Ubuntu 16.04 as operating system. Given the example example.c: #include <stdio.h> #include <stdlib.h> int main(int argc, char **argv) { int *a = (int
