Computation of contour values - Speeding up computation
Dear R useRs, i have the following code to compute values needed for a contour plot ############################################################ "myContour" <- function(a, b, plist, veca, vecb, dim) { tmpb <- seq(0.5 * b, 1.5 * b, length=dim) tmpa <- seq(0.5 * a, 1.5 * a, length=dim) z <- matrix(0, nrow=dim, ncol=dim) for(i in 1:dim) { for(j in 1:dim)

binding rows from different matrices
Hello list, I have 3 matrices with same dimension : > veca=matrix(1:25,5,5) > vecb=matrix(letters[1:25],5,5) > vecc=matrix(LETTERS[1:25],5,5) I would like to obtain a new matrix composed by alternating rows of these different matrices (row 1 of mat 1, row 1 of mat 2, row 1 of mat 3, row 2 of mat 1.....) I have found a solution to do it but it is not very pretty and I wonder if I

.Call in R
Hi R developers, I am new to this forum and hope someone can help me with .Call in R. Greatly appreciate any help! Say, I have a vector called "vecA" of length 10000, I generate a vector called "vecR" with elements randomly generated from Uniform[0,1]. Both vecA and vecR are of double type. I want to replace elements vecA by elements in vecR only if sum of elements in

[PATCH 1/2] nv30/draw: rework some of the output vertex buffer logic
This makes the vertex buffer go to GART, not VRAM, and redoes the mapping to not use the UNSYNCHRONIZED access (which is meaningless on a VRAM buffer anyways). While we're at it, add some flushes for VBO data. Moving the vertex buffer from VRAM to GART makes glxgears work fully with NV30_SWTNL=1. The other changes just seem like a good idea. I'm not sure *why* moving the buffer from VRAM

userdb section not recognized in dovecot.conf. Help?
I'm following a tutorial[1] on how to configure dovecot and the tutorial says to insert the following configuration options into the dovecot.conf file: disable_plaintext_auth = no mail_privileged_group = mail mail_location = mbox:~/mail:INBOX=/var/mail/%u userdb { driver = passwd } This seems to have worked for a lot of others using this tutorial but not for me. Get window textures even when they're transformed.
If I wobble a window and quickly initiate switcher or cube, this can cause weird artifacts. I had a look at Beryl's switcher.c In switchPaintThumb they use this: static void switchPaintThumb(...) { DrawWindowGeometryProc oldDrawWindowGeometry; AddWindowGeometryProc oldAddWindowGeometry; WindowPaintAttrib sAttrib = *attrib; int wx, wy; float width, height; CompIcon *icon = NULL; /*

More libshout questions
Okay, I am using libshout to stream to a NullSoft Shoutcast server. I am using libmad and libmp3lame to do re-encoding on the fly. I am streaming to the server (currently) with shout_send_raw(). When I try to use shout_metadata_add(), I get a segfault in strdup(). Anyone have any ideas as to why? Everything else works fine, just not the metadata. Thanks In Advance, Deven --- >8 ----

Contributor Contributions
I have made claims that I have not left the compiz project and that I have been maintaining it over the past 4 years, despite the lack of releases by not fault but my own. At the request of some of the original compiz developers, I am now posting a compilation of some of the contributions I've made over time, since the beginning. Since the most important contributions are code and easiest to
