Hi, could someone pelase help me with this? My data set's name is db1(say) and one of the variables is var1. I gave the command: hist(db1$var1). The values of Var1 are numbers. I got an error which says: 'x' must be numeric. Sometimes it works for other datasets and it's not working for this dataset. Also, does R let us import data from an excel spreadhsheet? Thanks, Radha

Has anyone had any success using the Florz patch for zaphfc ? I have a * system with 2 HFC cards which is working fine with 2 PTP ISDN lines however the users are complaining of crackles on the line which I am assuming is related to the IRQ issues raised by Florz. I need to install Centos on a machine with 3tb raid disk. (3 ware raid card) Could someone in the list suggest a utility for partition this disk. I would like to have the whole disk in 1 partition and format it for ext3. The default partitioning utility doesn't do this. Hello, I can write to an ntfs partion if mounting it by hand with 'mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sdf5 /mnt/xp'. But if I use the mount option from the kde Storage Media panel applet (kdebase-3.5.4-13.6.el5.centos) then the partion will be mounted without write support. Hi list, I am exporting share which has a small base partition into which several much larger partitions are mounted. Which are used by different user groups. My problem is, that windows takes the size of the base partition to be the size of the whole share.
