[PATCH] appliance: extract UUID from QCOW2 disk image
For the appliance of the QCOW2 format, get the UUID of the disk by
reading the first 256k bytes with 'qemu-img dd' command. Then pass the
read block to the 'file' command. In case of failure, run the 'file'
command again directly.

[PATCH] Btrfs-progs: receive: fix the case that we can not find subvolume
If we change our default subvolume, btrfs receive will fail to find
subvolume. To fix this problem, i have two ideas.
1.make btrfs snapshot ioctl support passing source subvolume''s objectid
2.when we want to using interval subvolume path, we mount it other place
that use subvolume 5 as its default subvolume.
We''d better use the second approach because it won''t bother

mdadm vs raidcheck
Hi all!
I don't religiously follow everything that pops up in the selinux
alerts, but now and then I go back and look at some of them.
(I'm on an up to date Centos-7).
Today I noted an error that seems to occur during a weekly raid check,
from /etc/cron.d.
the selinux alert is:
SELinux is preventing /usr/sbin/mdadm from write access on the file /var/log/rear/rear-fcshome.log.lockless.

[PATCH] VMX support for MMIO/PIO in VM8086 mode
Memory mapped and port I/O is currently broken under VMX when the
partition is running in VM8086 mode. The reason is that the instruction
decoding support uses 32-bit opcode/address decodes rather 16-bit
decodes. This patch fixes that. In addition, the patch adds support for
the "stos" instruction decoding because this is a frequently used way
to clear MMIO areas such as the screen.

Notebook suspend instructions -- Gentoo to Centos
At: http://www.linux.com/article.pl?sid=06/05/24/1716222
are instructions for implementing suspend mode on a Linux notebook, but
the script is for Gentoo and it seems like Centos needs something else.
As this puts my system REALLY fast into Suspend, but it never comes back
out.
Further the temp file: var/tmp/video_state.XXXXXX is empty, so
something is not right.
Now for my system, HP

[PATCH 1/3] dib: unset all temporary dirs envvars in fake-sudo
The real sudo does it as well, and leaving them when preserving the
environment (-E) maybe breaks the applications, as e.g. chroot will have
a TMPDIR path pointing outside of it.

[PATCH 4/5] dib: require a Python interpreter
d-i-b 2.0 is written in Python, and thus it passes the information about
the interpreter used for it (sys.executable) to the scripts that need
it; this mechanism replaces the old discovery of what is the default
Python interpreter in the system.
Since we are not Python-based, look for 'python' and use it as default
interpreter, with the --python command line option to set a different
one.

Anyone could access & download the URL [1] (I wrote it in patch commit log)
without register SUSE account.
Please check attachment file, which I downloaded from [1] and modified under
the BZ comment 1. The trigger method is also in comment 1, I copy here:

Simple FileUtils question
Hi, I have a quick question. I am trying to create folders dinamically
using FileUtils.mkdir, the problem is that if the folder already exist
it gives me an error. Does anyone know if there are any options to mkdir
that would let me overwrite the already existing directory? I just need
to create a folder with the same name everytime. Any other solution you
might suggest? Thanks.
