PHP 5.2.x rpm for Centos 5? (any news)
I've searched the archives and found a post last march about a rpm version
of php for centos.
Any news about it?
Is it still in testing?
Any known issues?
Where do I get it?
Thanks.

php 5.1 or 5.2
Hi,
The regular php distributed with centos 4.x is 4.x with php 5.0.x provided
from extras/plus. It seems that we are weeks (a month?) away from 5.2.0.
Are there any plans to upgrade those packages to 5.1 or 5.2?
Thanks.

Php 5.2.x support ends
Thinking of just sitting on this for awhile? Thoughts?
Last release for PHP 5.2 & updates for 5.3
PHP Logo The users of PHP 5.2 should upgrade to 5.3 at their earliest
convenience, as the active support of the 5.2 series came to an end with the
release of version 5.2.14 earlier today. PHP 5.2.0 was released almost four
years ago and according to the release announcement,

Any news on an updated php 5.2 version in extras/testing?
Hi,
I've being using the 5.2.10 that is in testing in a production environment
for more than six months without any problem. I am wondering if/when we are
going to see a 5.2.14 version there and if the recently disclosure of a
5.1.6 security update affects the 5.2.10 that is in testing.

advice on having php 5.2.x:
Hi all,
My goal is to have PHP 5.2.x on a centos virtual machine (LXC)
Looking at the repositories:
- 6.2 has php 5.3:
ftp://ftp.free.fr/mirrors/ftp.centos.org/6.2/updates/i386/drpms/
- 5.7 has php 5.1
ftp://ftp.free.fr/mirrors/ftp.centos.org/5.7/updates/i386/RPMS/
I'll have to rebuild a source RPM in order to have what I want:
- Which base should I install for a php 5.2 VM? 6.2 or 5.7?

PHP and PHP53
Greetings,
We have someone requesting the use of Wordpress 3.3.1. It requires PHP 5.2
minimum.
Currently, our machine is running CentOS 5.7.
What are the issues/concerns in upgrading from PHP 5.1 (the current PHP
rpms) to PHP53?
Much thanks,

AMI Originate Commands executed in sequential Order problem
Hi,
I noticed that asterisk manager interface will only accept the originate
commands in sequential order. For example, if I want to ring two extensions
through the AMI, and while first extension is ringing, AMI won't execute and
ring second extension until first extension has answered the call.
Anybody has any ideas as I had the same results even tested with telnet
commands to AMI interface.

apache 2 and php 5.2
Hi originally I installed php 4 on centos 5.5 and then a few repos including
the remi repo to upgrade to php5, which seems to upgrade/work without any
issues.
However when I make a change to the /etc/php.ini file it doesn't look like
apache is seeing it, for example if I change the post_max_size and
upload_max_file to 25M each apache still sees the default 2M. I also removed
the /etc/php.ini

Something to test in php 5.2
Since people are testing php 5.2 in the CentOS repo - here's a bug I
found in my own build of 5.2 that probably is a general php bug - but is
worth testing on the CentOS testing packages.
If using imagefttext with a Postscript type 1 font -
$lstring="?" . date("Y") . " My Real Name";
or
$lstring=html_entity_decode("©", ENT_COMPAT,

PHP 5.2
To me, there seems to be growing support to requiring PHP 5.2 within the
next year, see http://www.gophp5.org/ . Does anyone know of plans to
release PHP 5.2 RPMS in any of the major repos?

PHP 5.2 on Centos4
Bit of an emergency as I'm told this laptop has to leave here in 15 minutes,
I've gone ahead and configured, made, installed PHP 5.2 but an httpd restart
still only sees the old PHP 5.0.4, I think there's a fairly simple way to
get it to find the 5.2 version I've just installed but can't think what.
Any help gratefully received!
thanks

PHP 5.1 rpm
hi,
I am looking for a spec (or src.rpm) for PHP 5.1.x and CentOS 4.3.
I've noticed that there is a 5.0.4 in the centosplus directory but no 5.1.
Any ideas (besides generate my own)?
