Runt Recurring events
I am planning on using Runt to calculate recurring events. I calculate a Runt object in the view and use it to see if it includes a certain date, which is populates from the database, and display the info for that date if it is included. I have recurring events for every week, which was pretty easy to set up. I can just say: r = Runt::DIWeek.new(4) For a recurring event every Thursday, and

rCalendar Project
Railoholic-Anonymous Members: I am tooling around with the idea of forming a project which would create a calendar plugin/engine with the following features: 1. DB schema mapping all necessary iCal (RFC-2445) fields. 2. Probably utilizing either vpim (vpim.rubyforge.net), or iCalendar (icalendar.rubyforge.net). (First choice would be vpim since some attendee functionality requires vcard

design question
Hi, I''m developing a budget planner for myself and do have a table for recurring expenses, as well as a transaction table for my bank account CSV file uploads. Questions: For the projections forward in time I''m wonder whether to: (a) keep it simple and just calculate future balance projections on the fly, then feed to gruff graphs (b) each time a recurring item changes, or

pre-release version of backgroundrb available now from svn
Hi, A pre-release version of backgroundrb is available now from svn. Download it from here: http://svn.devjavu.com/backgroundrb/branches/version099/ Since this release marks significant migration from existing practices, i intend to keep trunk untouched for a while. There are no install scripts, but you should copy "backgroundrb" file from script directory of plugin to script

Using a lib in YAML fixtures
I''m using the runt library [1] to do some temporal expression matching. I want to keep the expression in a binary field in my db. I figured that then in order to do the fixtures, I''d need to do some erb in the yaml file. So I came up with this: onetime: id: 1 name: One Time description: This event occurs only one time. timex: <%= REYear.new(7) & REMonth.new(24)

I'd like to be able to setup a recurring wakeup call M-F and have it play the weather forecast rather than moh. I'm using AAH that has had all components recently upgraded. Has anyone done this sort of thing? Thanks, David -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was

I have installed the packages libneon27-dev & libical-dev then in /etc/asterisk the file calendar.conf has the following entries: [Gcalendar] type=caldav url=https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/atuxnull at gmail.com/events/ user=atuxnull at

[PATCH v3] virtio_blk: unlock vblk->lock during kick
Holding the vblk->lock across kick causes poor scalability in SMP guests. If one CPU is doing virtqueue kick and another CPU touches the vblk->lock it will have to spin until virtqueue kick completes. This patch reduces system% CPU utilization in SMP guests that are running multithreaded I/O-bound workloads. The improvements are small but show as iops and SMP are increased. Khoa Huynh
