xrandr HDMI-1 and DVI-D-1 disconnected - External monitor not detected
Hi List, I'm stuck how to get a dual head monitor solution to work with Nouveau, running openSUSE 13.1 on my hp8710w mobile workstation equipped with a Nvidia graphical card. Beyond the built-in WUXGA display, an external WQHD monitor is connected to the HDMI port on the graphical card and/or to the dual link DVI-D on a hp docking station. To compare with SLED11/Nvidia driver running in

SVIDEO and xrandr
Hello, I've been trying to get my n17 card to do SVIDEO tv out -------------------------- 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation NV17 [GeForce4 MX 440] (rev a3) -------------------------- It is close to working. The first issue is that it was outputting PAL, and I found the module parameter and kernel boot config to change that: --------------------------

multiple cards and monitors with xrandr and opengl
Dear Devs, We have achieved a desktop of up to six monitors, with openGL running succesfully on the desktop, with the following setup/features: * Ubuntu 16+ * Xrandr * Noveau driver * Two gtx750 graphic cards Each (identical) graphic card has 2xHDMI + 2xDVI connectors, which we connect to the monitor array. So far it works with six monitors, but we'd like to achieve eight. However,

fullscreen uses panning, and xrandr has cursor moving
I'm having a problem with games running in wine fullscreen with nvidia proprietary driver 185.18 under Fedora 11 64-bit. My desktop resolution is 1920x1200, and when I run a game with 1280x960 fullscreen setup (like Halo for example), it changes resolution to 1280x960 and runs fullscreen as expected, but when I move the mouse toward the edge rapidly, it pans the game screen away as if

XRandR and Screen Resolution Again
Having spent all day researching xrandr and the use of metamodes, I want to know: Is there a way to monitor the wineserver process so that I can run xrandr immediately upon wineserver's termination? Correct me if I am wrong. I believe that is what I want done. (My problem, like that of many others, is that a full-screen game leaves my display trashed. I've found the same solution,

XRandR 180
Hi, Does the current tree implement Rotate 180? I can see 0, 90 and 270, but not 180. This feature might sound silly at first glance, but it happens to be highly useful for my convertible tablet laptop. I've browsed the current nv code and nouveau implementations, and it's pretty clear that the older xrandr implementation did not do this. Is there some secret in xrandr1.2 that I'm
