"The command "bundle install --local" seems to be returning mysql2

Fast in MySQL console, slow in ActiveRecord
Has anyone experienced an ActiveRecord query being much much slower than
running the equivalent
query in the MySql console?
I am running a simple "group by" query with one condition on a table with 7
million records. When
I run EXPLAIN it says that it will have to scan over all the records - well
that''s OK. In the MySQL
query it takes 1min 40secs which is OK for me - this

BUT, I have delayed_jobs that run methods in the background, where two
nested active records were compared with "if hash1 == hash2", then it
should just show whether they are the same or not. With

Bundler - how to re-install all gems after os update?
I had a working Rails setup using RVM on Ubuntu 11.10 with /home on a
separate partition. I installed Ubuntu 12.04 (Alpha) on the root
partition, leaving the home partition unchanged. I now find that some
things don''t work, I think due to the fact that the system has been
updated and versions of libraries have changed. For example I get:
