Snom 200 Programmable Keys
I would like to use one of my Snom 200's 5 programmable keys to park calls. I am using image SIP 2.04g. I have tried a variety of combinations and have come to the conclusion that: 1) On the Key Mappings administration page, I must select the "Transfer" under the "Break Keys" option box to be able to successfully transfer calls using the "Transfer" button. 2)

Snom programmable leds / keys usage for pickup groups?
Would it be possible to use the programmable led+keys on the Snom phones to signal that there is an incoming call that is ringing a call group or pickup group? We use this on our existing PBX if for example the accounting dept. is out for lunch but nobody can hear their phones. This way you can see an incoming call (and we hate voicemail) :) Thanks!

Aastra 9133i programmable buttons (* 4.1.23)
Is it possible to control the light on a programmable button without the blf option? I'm using a programmable button to turn call recording on and off and I would like the light to indicate the status. Thanks, David Ruggles CCNA MCSE (NT) CNA A+ Network Engineer Safe Data, Inc. snom programmable buttons
Hi, I want to pick up a call with the snom's programmable buttons(snom190 -SIP 3.60x, snom360-SIP 4.1) with asterisk server (v 1.2.0), I tried with the option 'Destination' and when the incoming call arrive to another snom phone the button blinking. In this way I can only pick down it pressing the blinking button. The solution is call the *8 or parcking the call but my pbroblem

MGE Evolution and programmable outlets configuration
Hi, I'm a MGE Evolution 650 owner and, after putting in place a basic configuration for controlling my UPS, I'm going to tune a little bit better NUT for my needs. First of all let me describe my little (SOHO) scenario: I have the ISP modem/switch (providing VoIP too, so it's important to keep it running as much as possible), a small low power home server and a much hungrier PC.

How to export a classification model from R to a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA)
Dear R users, my search for a possibility to convert a generated model into VHDL to program an FPGA has still no solution. The problem: caret -> training -> model -> model.rds -> model.xml (PMML) --?--> VHDL-Code --?--> FPGA The (simplified) task: A photo detector with 16 channels is measuring the intensity of 16 different wavelength ranges. These data are classified with the

Grandstream Programmable Buttons & Retrieving On Hold Lines
A day of banging my head against a wall and spamming this list is about done.... I've got everything working beautifully, and I'm ready to go full out and implement all across the board...save for one stupid little thing. We have 6 phone lines and I'd like the GXP-2000 to show the status of these 6 phone lines down, as well as allow a user to pick a specific line, the right hand

Dead Keys Solution (although temporary)
Hi, I require dead keys to be "productive" with Linux and I require Lotus Notes to communicate... I've installed Lotus Notes 5.0.8 (All Clients), successfully. Created a link in "C:\Program Files\Netscape\Communicator\netscape.exe" which in turn points to /usr/bin/netscape which runs Netscape 6.2.1 from /usr/local/netscape/netscape... This allows the hyperlinks to work

SNOM extension lights programmable, eg. based on asterisk variable setting?
Hi all, I've programmed on a SNOM function key the destination "**77" which in my extension plan reprograms/toggles an asterisk DB variable which I use in the extension plan for some call routing decisions. I would like the SNOM extension light to permanently reflect the current toggle status of my application logic/asterisk DB variable. Is something like that possible to do in

Snom Programmable button Mini Howto and ringstate patch
It's very possible that the Polycom IP600 will work with this. As it is just an implementation of a SIP standard for subscribing to the state of other extensions. As for the feature improvements you might see them from me, but not very likely. It is easier for me to train my customers to hit *8 (I will probably just program a pickup button for them) than it is for me to figure out what I

Five functions proposed for base
Dear r-devel, Among the R functions I have written and later shared with colleagues, there are five that I hope will become a part of the R base package. The tasks are neither specific nor marginal, so rather than creating one more 'misc' package, I would be happy if the R Development Core Team would adopt these functions and hammer them into shape. The functions are available from

make a file from four individual files. but keys can be missing among files.
Hello, I have a list of four files. Each file is a list of gene models, and each gene model has attributes in file columns. The sample_week-over-sample_week fold change value foreach i in file is in column 5. The gene model ID is in column 1. To make it more complicated, each gene i may not be found in all four files. I've written R scripts to try to 1) write a function to iterate over each

Snom Programmable button Mini Howto and ring state patch
The snom 200 and 220 have five programmable buttons. Each button has a led that can be used to indecate if an extension is idle, in use, or ringing. A button pannel for the 220 is also comming out soon that will have 20'ish programmable buttons on board. This is a killer app for any company that has receptionists handle calls, and pretty usefull for everyone else. As a matter of fact,

uid transition and post-auth privsep (WAS Re: possible fundamental problem with tru64 patch) (fwd)
As I understand it, the idea behind privsep is to prevent malicious data from the client-side of a connection corrupting a server-side process running as root. To achieve that, it is important that post-auth privilege separation happen, ie, that the sshd process change uid to the (authenticated) user. But it is also true that this very same process can perform root-level work without risk of being

tabs in emacs fundamental mode?
I'm noticing that under CentOS 6, emacs fundamental mode is no longer inserting tabs at factor-of-8 tabstops, but rather is doing some funky guess-the-intended-tab-distance thing like text mode has done for a while, currently using three spaces per tab key. Has anyone tracked down where this was changed and, more to the point, how to get the old CentOS 5 behavior back? FWIW, I'm

Fundamental rsync design question.
Hi folks, Was looking at a commercial product which does something similar to rsync. It seems to optimise incremental change determination by logging the changes that have occured since the first full transfer happened, using techniques common in snapshot techniques. Is there any reason for rsync not using this approach ? Is it the space constraints imposed by a logging approach or

Computing fundamental harmonics from a periodogram
Dear all, I'm trying to finding the fundamental harmonics (ie. peaks in a periodogram) from a time series (extracted from an mp3). For example, if I look at spectrum(fdeaths, spans = c(3,3)) I'd say the fundamental harmonics are about 1, 2, 3.5 and 4.5 - but how can I extract these automatically? (preferably with some heuristic for choosing the smoothing spans too) I'm aware of
