New firefox causing anyone else problems - CentOS 4.X?
Looks like Firefox may be getting another update soon, if my problem is
not atypical. Prior to the latest, had NP for *months*. Anyone else
seeing any problems?
BTW, running the recent Java console from sun that was detailed in
another thread a week or two back with Firefox. Had NP prior to the
latest update, if that offers any useful info. Would like to test the

problem with package function and removing rpms
I have a recipe that I''m ensuring that I remove rpms that may be
installed by CentOS/RHEL before I install the MySQL.com rpms.
the recipe and logs are listed below. For testing I have mysql-* rpms
already installed.
Is there a method to force specific order to run the recipe?
What am I doing wrong?

Hi,
I was doing updates on a server and I think that the network connection

Conflict installing openssl.i386 with openssl.x86_64 on a x86_64 system
Hi Everyone,
I've got a system running CentOS 4 x86_64 and have some i386 packages
(e.g. Firefox) installed, too. I knew when I started out that this
wasn't ideal, but worked nonetheless. And, so far, it has. I'm (and my
client) are happy!
A couple of days ago I updated the server from U2 to U3 (it's not a
public system, and runs some critical software...U3 couldn't go in

images gone after yum update
Hi,
yesterday I upgraded a centos 4.6 box via yum and now it seems that certain
pages, especially swf files stopped working.
Does anyone know if ImageMagick got broken on x64? I don't see any other
package wich could have caused this problem.
kind regards,
Geert
PS Below is the output of my yum update
