follow_redirect! aborts rake during integration tests
I''m running integration tests on Rails 1.1/Ruby 1.8.4/Windows XP and have
found that any call to follow_redirect! (directly or through
[get|post]_via_redirect) causes rake to abort (see command line output
below). Has anyone else seen this error, or know what might be the trouble?
Thanks!

Speed bumps on the way to successfully running puppetmasterd on Mac OSX Leopard, try one and two
Hey all,
I have recorded my steps towards getting puppet functional
through one of the four different methods that I can think of, which
are:
1.Source(copying and insatlling to the recommended unix FSH
directory, /usr/local/src)
2.pkg hosted at explanatorygap
3.MacPorts
4.RubyGems
I haven''t cleanly tested the last two, but here''s where I am with the
first two:

Issues creating tables in mysql tests
Hello,
I''m a beginner, so any hints are appreciated; I''m still trying to find my
way around Rails code. For a bug I''ve found I need to create a table called
"values" so I added this:
create_table :values do |t|
t.integer :value
end
among the other table creations in
activerecord/test/cases/migration_test.rb. Is that ok? But then, when I run

With the 0.2.0 code, unit testing of workers isn''t working out of the box.

test:plugins task dependency on :environment is pointless, surely?
Hello all,
I''ve been doing quite a bit of rooting around the plugin system
recently, and one thing in particularly has me puzzled and bemused. At
the moment, the test:plugins task has a dependency on the :environment
task, thus loading up Rails in all it''s resplendent glory. Once it''s
done this it uses Rake::TestTask to load the tests for every plugin.
However, because

Informix adapter testing
I''ve just written an ActiveRecord adapter for Informix. It lacks a
pair of features that I will add later, but it works for me.
I found this on the web:

and followed it, but when I get to
$ rake test_informix
I get the following error messages:

This is kinda weird. I''m working on a plugin. On the same computer
(eg. same gems, ruby, etc.), installed into different apps, it fails

it''s exported through an svn export.
on app a, it works:

Unit Test Error: `load_specification': undefined method `parse' for Time:Class

I''ve come across a confusing problem when attempting to run unit tests
for an application on OSX (works on Windows).
I''m receiving the following error:

This is also confusing because I can''t figure out how the error
appeared. When I revert back to previous revisions,

I checked my test_helper.rb and it has

My code was generated with 1.1.2 and I''m using 1.1.3 right now after

I googled for this issue and it appears that a require is missing or
something like that. I can''t figure it out, please help!
