multiple shout streams
I'm running multiple instances of ices. Also, I found what the problem
was with the constant stream. I was getting a default stream because I
was using my local ip address to run the server, and when I tried to
access the different streams from my outside ip address something got
confused. I'm running it from my outside ip address and everything works
fine. Does anyone know a what to run

[LLVMdev] generation of shared libraries.
I am trying to run the LLVM hello world pass. I observe that in the
OUPUT_DIR/lib the LLVMHello.a and LLVMHello.la libraries are generated. But
I am confused as to how to generate the .so library file from here.
I am kinda new to compilers and hence the question I know is basic , but
couldnt figure the answer out myself.
Thanks a lot for your help.
Regards

command 'service smb status' returns many process IDs
Hello,
I have a Samba4 server running on Linux CentOS 6. Many users use this Samba service from their Windows PCs. After the Samba service is started (service smb stop ; service smb start), days later, just don't know when, running the command 'service smb status' would return many process IDs, like this:
smbd (pid 32557 32240 32204 32202 31880 31874 31788 31714 31707 31337 31107

g-inverse question
I am using the ginv function from MASS and have run across this problem
that I do not understand. If I define the matrix A as below, its
g-inverse does not satisfy the Moore-Penrose condition
A %*% ginv(A) %*% A = A.
The matrix A is X'WX in a quadratic regression using some very large
dollar values.
The much simpler matrix B does satisfy the MP condition. Am I doing
something wrong? Is

When adding a trend line to a scatterplot (e.g. abline (90,4,col="red"), I
believe the "90" is the intercept and "4" is the slope. How do I determine
the intercept and slope for the abline command?

[LLVMdev] generation of shared libraries.
In order to generate shared libraries you need to have SHARED_LIBRARY
and LOADABLE_MODULE defined in the Makefile. See here for more
details: http://llvm.org/docs/MakefileGuide.html#libraries

Converting Matrix into List - problem (urgent)
Hi,
I'm trying to convert Matrix into a list format and have written the following code:

setwd(path)
getwd()
congeneric = matrix(rep(NA,36),nrow=6,ncol=6)
conFirst = matrix(rep(NA,36),nrow=6,ncol=6)
conFirstTwenty = rep(NA, 20)
k = 1

Question about simulation design...
Help R list servers,
I have 500 external data sets for a simulation study that I would like
to bring into R to analyze. They have the names data1.dat, data2.dat,
..., dataN.dat
Is there a way to automatize the bringing in of these data sets in R
using the read.table function within a looping cycle?
For example...
for (j in 1:N){
data_"j" = read.table("data"j".dat,

[LLVMdev] generation of shared libraries.
Thanks a lot.
A see the shared library in linux version. I initially tried doing this in
cygwin where I dont see the shared library being built. Do u think it could
have been cygwin that is the problem?
