what is the correct way to stop/start a mongrel instance using monit with mongrel cluster
Hi -- I have been reading documentation and googling around to find the correct way to do this but I have found many ways that seem to not work, or the documentation makes no reference to. I am using mongrel cluster with 10 mongrels for each server. Recently I installed monit but which lead me to find the correct way to start/stop mongrel instances one pid at a time. I am assuming one pid at a

high cpu load
Hi all, My mongrel server (1.0.3), with a very low usage, is taking more than 10% of cpu usage all the time (no background tasks were defined by me). This is very annoying and it is preventing me from being able to thing about good cluster configuration. Any idea on why this is happening? cheers and regards, Danilo -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Update on spam, postfix, fail2ban, centos 6
I have been using centos 6 in a virtualized system for a few months now. Took a while to batten down the hatches with postfix, rbls, and to use fail2ban correctly. The mailserver for my website(s) are located on the http server as well..an 'all in one' server. DNS servers are separated. My two sites, and their emails addresses (1 for each) have been around for 10 and 15 years
