"reaper" is not picking up new changes to my application???
Hi, Can anyone shed any light on why "reaper" (whilst seemingly working re restarting my mongrel ruby process) does not pick up changes to my application? (e.g. changing a title in a view for example). It''s like the "mongrel_rails start etc..." is just restarting the current process but ignoring the new details re where the new application directory is. That is

On Topic: Cheapest Asterisk USB Key? (was: Re: Off Topic: Open Source USB Softphone)
Here's a flipside of this subject: what is the absolute cheapest Linux device that can be connected to a PC's USB port? That has just enough power for a minimal Asterisk server running on it. The Asterisk just maintains a CDR database on its Flash memory, which it periodically submits over the PC's network connection with an HTTP hit on a remote full-service Asterisk server? No call

I''m in the planning stage of an app that will store images and short video clips approximately 1 meg in size from user uploads. My partner wants to use the database to store all of the files, mainly for scaling purposes. I recently built a similar app using the filesystem, but that was to be run from a single machine. This new app will have 3 application servers and a fileserver
