Domain membership problem in OpenSuse 10.2
Dear Everyone, I am trying to use an OpenSuse 10.2 computer on a Windows 2000 domain using winbind authentication (join to domain). I added a few lines to the smb.conf for extracting sfu attributes, and my smb.conf looks like this: [global] idmap backend = ad idmap gid = 1000-100000 idmap uid = 1000-100000 winbind uid =

apply with multiple conditions
Hello all, I have written a for loop to act on a dataframe with close to 3million rows and 6 columns and I would like to pass it to apply() to speed the process up (I let the loop run for 2 days before stopping it and it had only gone through 200,000 rows) but I am really struggling to find a way to pass the arguments. Below are the loop and the head of the dataframe I am working on. Any hints

ActiveRecord serialize method not returning YAML array in test environment.
Hello, I''ve got a problem with deserialization of AR "serialize" method (http://apidock.com/rails/ActiveRecord/Base/serialize/class) in my tests. It just gives me pure String instead of my data Array. Example: User > AR::Base serialize :roles, Array end Console: u = User.new u.roles = ["admin", "support"] u.save # => true User.first.roles # =>

SIP INVITE and caller id / proxy-authorization strange behaviour
Hi all, Today I've stumbled upon a very strange behaviour with an analog fxs/fxo gateway (AddPac AP1002, http://www.addpac.com/english/AP1002.html) connected to a CVS HEAD(from today) Asterisk server. This manifested itself after enabling the CallerID on the pstn lines connected to the FXO ports of the module. Both FXO modules have their own sip username/passwords and are registered to the

Winbind issue
All, After upgrading to samba 3.0.30 on gentoo amd64 because of my recent best friend CVE-2008-1105 My winbind daemon is 'hanging up', and refusing to respond to pings after a few minutes of activity. Wbinfo -u, getent passwd all work successfully, then after a bit wbinfo -p just tells me winbind dies. I have 3.0.30/winbind on another machine, also amd64 that is working.... So

quota_wrning not working for me (quota_rewrite patch for dovecot 1.0.8)
Hello, We are using dovecot 1.0.8 with LDAP authentication and extra variebles (like quota limit) storage. Since some of our users are asking for warning of quota use I have been playing around with the quota rewrite patch for dovecot 1.0.8 and found that it does not work for us as it is now. I've applied the patch recompiled dovecot reconfigured using the new "quota_warning"

[LLVMdev] Bug? Coalescing & Updating Subreg Intervals
I have a question about what is going on at line 754 of SimpleRegisterCoalescing.cpp. The comment says we are updating the live intervals for subregisters. This happens when we coalesce to a physical register. Now, I read that as, "merge in the range information from the eliminated live interval to the subregister live interval," but that appears to not be what happens. In my case,
