[PATCH node] Remove libvirt-cim
Since libvirt-cim is an alternate management tool, we're dropping
it from the core ovirt-node image. It makes more sense as a plugin
where all configuration and setup is kept separate to be used only
by those that want the functionality.

Newbie .. authorize.net
I am very new to RoR. I need to do:
1. credit card authorization only
and / or
2. charge the credit card
via the Authorize.net payment gateway via RoR?
QUESTION 1.
I came across the payment module available as a ruby gem. I am wondering
if anyone has used this gem in a real life application to do the above?
The other problem was that on this page:

[ADV/ANN] Easy recurring billing with Authorize.net
I have just put out an update to the SaaS Rails Kit, a sample Rails
application that implements recurring billing. This update adds support for
the Authorize.net payment gateway. With the Rails Kit and Authorize.net
CIM, you get a complete and very flexible subscription billing system that
you can use as a starting point for building your software-as-a-service
Rails application, so you can skip

testing authentication with basic_auth
hi, I''ve got an api which is using
authenticate_or_request_with_http_basic
What are you guys using to test this? I''m using rspec, and before I
was using rspec-rails, I was using authorize from Rack::Test to do the
authentication. However, authorize clearly doesn''t work when using
rspec-rails, so I''m wondering what everyone else is doing?

Relation to DMTF's CIM
I was wondering how Puppet relates to the DMTF''s CIM. AFAICT there is
a clear connection between the two, but I see very little discussion
on the topic on the list.
Thanks,
Cameron.

virInitialize dumps core intermittently.
Hi,
I have a host with 6 VMs set to autostart. When this host reboots, it
starts libvirtd, pegasus cimom and libvirt-cim. It also restarts the VMs.
Intermittently we noticed a core during start up that points to the last
call made by libvirt-cim to "virInitialize". I am thinking that it is a
timing issue where virInitialize is called while libvirt is trying to
autostart the VMs.

Query regarding Xen_ComputerSystem
Hi,
Libvirt provides classes such as Xen_ComputerSystem, Xen_Processor etc., in order to build applications using libvirt-api which can interact with the Xen Hypervisor.
I would like to know what are the corresponding classes for the KVM hypervisor, so that I can use libvirt-cim to communicate with the hypervisor. Would it be Kvm_ComputerSystem or Qemu_Computersystem?
Any help in this regard

Payment Gem Error
I am learning how to use the payment gem to process credit cards. I
think I have everything up and running correctly but I get this error:
undefined method `use_ssl='' for #<Net::HTTP secure.authorize.net:443
open=false>
Would anyone have an idea what would cause that?

User-Oriented Management of Asterisk
While I was away on vacation, buried deeply in another thread (New
Asterisk bounty: SIP simultaneous), Olle E. Johansson raised a question
which is close to my heart - Asterisk's management model.
A management model which simply manages telephone extensions and dial
plans is irrelevant to most organisations. We need a model which manages
users and their interaction with the PBX.

question regarding CMPIObjectPath
Folks,
I'm a new user and I'm trying to build a standalone application using
libvirt-cim (rather than use a full-fledged CIMOM). I need some help.
While calling the CMPIInstanceMI->ft->enumerateInstances, I need to pass a
reference to CMPIObjectPath. My application is crashing because I don't
know what is the correct constructor for this. If I do ref = CMPIObjectPath
() then
