Hey, My internet is provided via ADSL using PPPoE. When I take a look at ifconfig''s output, I see that eth0 has an MTU of 1500, and ppp0 has an MTU of 1492. I don''t _think_ that rp-pppoe (my pppoe util) is clamping the MSS. I am noticing some latency when there''s a lot of bandwidth in use (but not >90%). What should I clamp, eth0/ppp0? How much? I hate SIP. The only reason I'm doing this is that its cheaper than deploying the server to a colo facility. My provider has given me a non-standard IP block, so I can't do typical routing. I have Asterisk server <-> MT w\NAT <-> PPPoE <-> MT <-> Provider. I setup a dst-nat on 5060 to the Asterisk box. Audio from Asterisk --> PSTN works great.

You need a combination of iptables and iproute2 to do what you want = because routing is based on it's DESTINATION address and you need to route on = your SOURCE address so it uses a different route depending on which source = IP is in the packet..
