strucchange breakpoints (Bai and Perron, 1998, 2003)
If I try the breakpoints() function (strucchange package) with a minimum segment size = the number of regressors, there appears the following error message: "minimum segment size must be greater than the number of regressors" According to the documentation: "breakpoints implements the algorithm described in Bai & Perron (2003) for simultaneous estimation of multiple

Metadata: populating StreamUrl
Howdy Folks: Is there a way in v2.4.2 to include a ?StreamUrl=? field in the stream metadata as well as ?StreamTitle=?? It appears that the administrative interface only populates StreamTitle. For example: http://server.example.com:8000/admin/metadata?mount=MyMount&mode=updinfo&song=MySong will insert only ?StreamTitle=MySong?;. Googling around has brought up some possible

X100P/ATA186 not playing nicely...
Howdy y'all, I am using an ATA-186, through Vonage, connected to my X100P. It works well - except, hanging up... The hangup doesn't register, most of the time, with Asterisk. Are there any known tweaks out there that I should look into? I've noted some have altered dsp.c, and rebuilt. Just curious to see what y'all think. Below is my zapata.conf file:: [channels]

WebDAV library for fastcgi/webbrick
Hello, I am trying to find a WebDAV library for Ruby that works with fastcgi (production) and Webbrick (development). I''ve found this link which mentions a Webbrick WebDAV library: http://redhanded.hobix.com/inspect/ webrickWebdavHandlerSafelyExtractedFromTheWild.html Unfortunately it sounds limited to Webbrick which will not suit the production environment. Does anyone know of a

Hi, i'm running CentOS 6.0 on my server and installed mrtg from the rpm-package mrtg-2.16.2 . I also installed the depending packages perl-IO-Socket-INET6 perl-Socket6 .... mrtg works fine with IPV4-Addresses. ActiveRecord: table name with spaces?
Howdy. I''m trying to work with a legacy SQL Server database where some of the table names have spaces in them. I''ve done set_table_name "tablename with spaces", but I can''t get find(:all) to work. I get the following error (because apparently it''s not putting [ ] around the name as is required for SQL Server for names with spaces.

relationship help (not a personal problem)
Howdy all. New to OO and Rails and trying to get a grip on both. In particular at the moment I''m having trouble figuring out the following relationship. Say I have table/class Foo. Users get to decide to create Foo (or update or delete Foo) based on a user first proposing a change (class FooProposal), then users voting on that change (class FooProposalBallot). I was thinking

Polymorphic comments table needs associated model
Howdy, I''ve been banging my head on this problem for a bit. I''m using the acts_as_commentable plugin which works great. The scenario, I''m on the user''s dashboard and want to display comments with commentable_type = Venue. No problem. But, if I want to display the name of that Venue with the comment... big nasty. The polymorphic key is a composite key and

what is the recommended samba version on solaris?
Guys I was so frustrated about installing samba with ADS and winbind support on solaris 8. After fixing many problems, I am now facing another problem: I created a directory "test" in the samba share and was editing a file under the directory "test" and in the meantime the machine was rebooted. After the machine is started, the whole directory "test" is gone. I

Help on R strucchange package
Hello, Im using strucchange package in R software in order to apply Bai and Peron (1998, 2003) structural break tests to a set of n=1671 observations with a constant term (no AR terms). For that purpose I have read several papers, for instance Validating Multiple Structural Change Models An Extended Case Study, in which its aim is to replicate the results from Bai and Perron (2003) in R

I am parsing XML streams with ruby-libxml using the XML::Reader class. Several have invalid UTF-8 characters. I need a tutorial or at least some hints on how to recover and continue the parsing. Connecting from W95 to Samba Share
Hello group; This is a question that has been posted before, but I haven't found an answer in the archives or in the FAQ/docs. I've been thru the DIAGNOSIS.txt, and get stuck on net view \\machname from a W95 OSR2 box (error 53 ...). Setup: Solaris machine running Samba 2.0.0. I can use smbclient to connect to it from various HP, AIX, Solaris, and Linux boxes, and NT 4.0 clients work

strucchange | breakpoints - pure structural change model?
Dear R-Team, Am I right supposing that the "breakpoints()" function in the strucchange package is an implementation of the pure structural change model proposed by Bai and Perron (1997, 2003)? My question relates to a partial structural change model that Bai and Perron formulate in their 2003 paper, e.g. formulated as y = x' beta + z' delta_j + epsilon, where beta and delta

Ajax.Responders.register: onFailure not working
Hello together. I''ve tried to register an onFailure behavior for all my Ajax.Requests and .Updaters to handle a session-based timout system. On each server request via Ajax there is a check whether the user hasn''t made something for the last x minutes, and if he hasn''t, the php page throws an 403 forbidden header (via header("HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden")).
