Typo 5.5 for Rails 2.3.8
Hello,
On July 22th, 2010, Typo version 5.5 named for famous photographer
Richard Avedon was released to the public. Coming with a new admin and
setup, Typo 5.5 runs on Rails 2.3.8.
Being around since March 2005, Typo is (probably) the oldest blogging
platform in Rails. It has a full set of feature you would expect from
such an engine, powerful SEO capabilities and full themes and plugin

[PATCH 3/4] common/mltools: allow fd for machine readable output
Allow to specify a file descriptor for the machine readable output.
Sadly, the OCaml C glue for the channels is not public API, so enable
the internals for this...

PXE / Kickstart / nfs ....
hello there,
I wonder if you could help me:
I am trying to install 50 diskless servers using PXE / kickstart, it all starts well, DHCP server issues a dynamic address, tftp issues the kickstart file, the client starts reading the KS file but at some point anaconda brings up an unhandled exception related to Python when reading Comps.xml??
What is really unsettling is the fact that if I plug

[PATCH 4/4] OCaml tools: output messages into JSON for machine readable
When the machine readable mode is enabled, print all the messages
(progress, info, warning, and errors) also as JSON in the machine
readable stream: this way, users can easily parse the status of the
OCaml tool, and report that back.
The formatting of the current date time into the RFC 3999 format is done
in C, because of the lack of OCaml APIs for this.

Using DTrace to locate memory leak
Howdy,
I am attempting to isolate the location of a memory leak in a 4GL program,
and have hit a bit of a snag. When I LD_PRELOAD libumem and run the
application server, "::findleaks -fdv" reports numerous leaks:

RedCloth 4.1.1 vs. 4.2.3 - weird behaviour with notextile
For a community project I aim to combine RedCloth and Coderay and on doing
this, I might have found an issue with RedCloth.
I pushed a demo to Github:
https://github.com/markusproske/redcloth_coderay_demo
The index (http://localhost:3000/) demonstrates the issue.
In brief:
A page consist of textile. The textile contains @@@ruby somecode @@@

Dependences issues
Hi,
I don''t know if anyone has ever met a similar issue, trying anyway.
I''ve added gettext support to Typo during the week-end and done the
translation in French.
It works like a charm when I start Webrick, but crashes when I use
Apache + fastcgi. It doesn''t seem to find gettext.
Any idea someone?

Frederic

Typo and Instant Rails 1.2
Instant Rails is at 1.2 and I have installed Typo SVN Revsion 1000.
The sidebar changes stall with the spinner running even after the
*publish* button is clicked. The changes, themselves, do appear in the
actual blog.
When the *Sort Alphabetically* is clicked under categories an error
occurrred. I changed the code as follows:

Is possible to mantain a co0l blog without broke XHTML?
I started to write content in textarea in HTML then I migrated to
BBCode, then I came back HTML thanks to TinyMCE, now I see with interest
textile and markaby, but will they be "THE solution"?
As "internal" language anybody is free to use the language he/she
prefers but about the future? Probably you won''t be able to reuse it in
another platform/cms

Pygments
The Pygments highlighter supports many more languages than CodeRay.
Pygments is written in Python, but I''ve seen non-Python projects use it
(Jekyll, Pygments).
There''s also this: https://github.com/nex3/rb-pygments
Any idea how much work it would be to add Pygments support to Webgen?

[PATCH 0/4] OCaml tools: output messages as JSON machine
Enhance the output in machine parseable mode, by outputting all the
messages of OCaml tools as JSON to the machine parseable stream.
Related, although not strictly needed for this (and thus can be split
if requested), is the addition of the fd format for the machine
readable stream.

but essentially it''s all coming together.
My first project is a basic blog application to replace a current

how to format and syntax highlight code in html
I''ve written my own blog (I know typo is better, but I wanted the
experience of writing my own) and I want to add syntax highlighting to
it. I''ve read about using the ruby gem syntax but I can''t figure out
how to implement it. I''ve also wondered if it could be used in my case.
How does it work when you have a long line of code but the <div> your
