Re: dot matrix POS parallel printer problems
The TM U950 is a 2.5 station printer highly suitable for POS applications with its 40 columns of receipt/journal printing per station and 86 columns of slip. This printer's user friendly features and compact design add to its flexibility. Featuring optional check printing and endorsement capabilities, the TM U950 prints one original and four copies for added convenience. [Embarassed] :P

Hi. Running Samba 3.0.20 on Slackware 10.2. ActionMailer/SMTP: Net::SMTPSyntaxError when message body contains only a 'dot'
FYI: I don''t think this is a very well know. It seems that, on some operating systems, ActionMailer/SMTP crashes when it sends an email with only a ''.'' (aka a ''dot'' or a ''period''). Specifically, you get Net::SMTPSyntaxError (502 Error: command not implemented): Environment Details: $ uname -a Linux private1 2.6.15-26-server #1 SMP

float/decimal with dot or comma
Hi, I''m facing a really strange behaviour with rails 1.1.6. A model has a field declared as :float in schema.rb, as numeric in postgres 8.1. On save/update, rails makes the decimal point become a comma on the prod server only, hence making a sql error. This error was not there three weeks ago, i.e. when my prod server was in 1.1.4. Maybe something else changed, I cannot be sure

HELP!!! Problems with Hidden dot files
Hi all, I am having a real bizarre problem with Samba 2.2.2 on Solaris 8. I have set up the smb.conf to share all user's home folders, and want to ensure that all dot files are visible. The problem I am having is that the dot files all appear except for one specific one (which happens to be the exact file that is needed!). I can see it when I telnet, but not using Samba. The dot file is a

[LLVMdev] [patch] Dotty printer for dependency trees
Hi, I started to work with llvm and liked the CFG dotty printer a lot. However there was none for the dominance trees. I implemented dotty printing for dominance trees and introduced these new flags: -dot-dom : Print dominance tree of function to 'dot' file -dot-dom-only : Print dominance tree of function to 'dot' file (with no function

How to modify the dot-dot-dot argument using level names instead of position
Dear R-users, In the R internals manual, it is said that one can extract the elements of the dot-dot-dot argument using the special symbols ..1 or ..2. It seems to work just fine but I was wondering if there is a way one can extract or modify the content of the dot-dot-dot argument using a level name instead of its position? For instance, assuming that list(...) returns: $a [1] 1 2 3 4 5
