Textile/RedCloth and h() incompatible?
If a user enters the Textile-based code for an image, say:
!>graphic.png!
the textile() method will successfully render a right-float image. Now,
if I want to escape the user''s text using h(), the ''>'' is turned into an
&. Obviously, the image then fails to render in a browser. Is there
a work around for this?

titles in textile
Any ideas on a good way to embed titles in a textile file?
I am creating a number of textile files that i convert, one-by-one to html.
I would really like to include the title in the file itself. I am talking
about the <title> tag in the <head> of the document. It would be easy to add
this in post processing based on the first h1 tag or the name of the file
itself, but i was wondering

Actually, he didn't. He sent a multipart message, with a "text/html" section
and an equivalent message in "text/plain". Other than a little extra
bandwidth, I don't think anyone minds multipart messages.

Setting html breaks when using textile (redcloth)
Hello,
I would like to enable html breaks when having newlines in my text
rendered using textile/redcloth. I have found that a property names
hard_breaks should be enabled but I''m not sure where (in which file).
Anyone with a hint? :-)

I'm writing a Markdown Parser in Scheme by porting bits of Markdown.pl.
As you're probably aware, the Perl version massages the file into the
final output with a number of regexes. In my version I'm trying to use

ActionMailer multipart: html, plain and attachment?
Has anyone gotten emails to work where you specify the HTML and the
plain text alternatives, but also include an attachment?
Reason I''m asking: I''m sending out event notices, styled as HTML but
with a plain text alternative. I also want to attach the .ics file.

Possible header parsing problem
Hi,
I ran into a problem wherein my mail client (RoundCube) would not
display a message from a Dovecot IMAP server (claiming that the message
had no content). The raw source of the message looked fine, but the body
structure returned by Dovecot only had the first text/plain part and not
the alternative text/html part. The message looks like:

RedCloth !image! bug with filter_html
Hi all!
I am trying tu set up RedCloth for user-submitted comments. And here is
my problem. The :filter_html option just breaks images :-(
For example, if I try in irb:
string= "Some textile !agif.gif! and textile again"
RedCloth.new(string, [:filter_html, :filter_styles]).to_html(:textile)
I get:

HTML Posts -- Take 2
I had expected to be out of town this weekend so when I plans suddenly
changed, I responded to a nudge from a list member and investigated means
for stripping html from list posts. It turns out that MailMan 2.1 has this
capability and since I run MailMan for my list server, that seemed like a
good fit.
After a couple false starts trying to upgrade, I think that I have it
running.
