Status of docs/BitCodeFormat.rst?
I think it just changed formats which prompted a change in ID -- the code now uses TYPE_BLOCK_ID_NEW (= 17). I haven’t looked deeply to see how different it is. [ORC JIT][MLIR] GDBRegistrationListener "second attempt to perform debug registration" assert
Referring to the log messages from my previous mail… I confused myself (and probably others) by reading the “Adding MemMgr 0x55555959f440“ message as “Registering MemMgr 0x55555959f440”. Thus the address mismatch made no sense. How could we be registering a `MemMgr` address/key that does not match once we arrive in `notifyObjectLoaded` method? Answer: Because the registrations is NOT coming

Status of docs/BitCodeFormat.rst?
Hi folks, A while back I noticed some outdated information in docs/BitCodeFormat.rst about how parameter attributes were encoded — it describes an old encoding that was changed in 3.3 with the introduction of attribute groups. I opened a bug about this (https://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=28941) and started trying to write a patch, but along the way ran into more and more issues (e.g. new

Sure. David, what do you think about merging this to 3.9? Sanjay: are you saying I'd just apply that diff to InstructionSimplify.cpp, not InstCombineSelect.cpp? Hi guys. Hope you're having great days. I have cross compiled Samba 3.6.1 for my embedded linux device. It was very tough considering I couldn't find a tutorial or something that helps me. Not even on Samba site and its documentation. Anyway I managed to compile it and I put compiled files into /usr/local directory in the device like I was supposed to and modified smb.conf and put it in

Hypothesis test
Dear colleague: Actually that is what is done. When using the z-test between proportions in two different groups, or using chi-squared to test the null hypothesis of equal proportions of two or more groups, the null hypothesis is that H0: p1=p2=p3.....=p where this p is the pooled proportion, the proportion in the summed groups = n1+n2+n3+..../N1+N2+N3.... in the z-test between two

Hitting assertion failure related to vectorization + instcombine
Hi folks, I'm hitting the below assertion failure when compiling this small piece of C code (repro.c, attached). My command line is: bin/clang --target=aarch64-linux-gnu -c -O2 repro.c clang is built from top of trunk as of this morning. It only happens at -O2, and it doesn't happen with the default target (x86_64). I tried to reproduce using just 'llc -O2' but didn't
