Rails Tagging Generator?
Hey all! Just finished my first Rails app on 1.0 day and even got paid for it! Great stuff and much thanks to the many generous souls in IRC, especially ezmobious, who helped me through. For my second Rails app, I want to use tagging. I am wondering if there is a Tagging Generator or some other existing implementation I can borrow from? Best, Mike Pence Boca Raton, FL

xl stack problems on CentOS6 XEN4
Hi George, I already outlined the drbd-stuff on xen-users (see attachement). Yes - elrepo is right on mark. Excerpt: "The script (/etc/xen/scripts/block-drbd) I am using is from drbd84-utils-8.9.2-1.el6.elrepo.x86_64 - and already seems to contain the "drbd or phy" case; both in the add and the remove branch. Siegel-Tukey test for equal variability (code)
Hi, I recently ran into the problem that I needed a Siegel-Tukey test for equal variability based on ranks. Maybe there is a package that has it implemented, but I could not find it. So I programmed an R function to do it. The Siegel-Tukey test requires to recode the ranks so that they express variability rather than ascending order. This is essentially what the code further below does. After the

[somewhat OT] Apache config for Rails + ColdFusion + PHP
Our group has several web apps developed in ColdFusion, PHP, and Rails. The ColdFusion and PHP apps are on an older server, and the Rails apps on a new server. Ideally, we''d like them all to share the same server. Our current setup for the Rails server is Apache2.2 with mod_proxy_balancer and mongrel_cluster. We''d like to have specific directories be processed and served by

Winbind oddness
Hi all, I'm really hoping someone can help me with this, I am at my wits end trying to figure this out. I have a centos 3.x system, fully updated. Samba 3.0.9-1 installed and configured. net ads join'd to my brand new win2k3 AD server. Up to yesterday everything was working fine. Now, I can chown users but not groups ( which is a huge deal ), and I lose the ability to do users

Winbind + ext3 ACLs
Hi folks, For the longest time, I've had a problem changing or modifying ACLs from my window clients. yum fails on IBMJava2-JRE
My yum update for CentOS-2 started to fail a while ago. http://mirror.centos.org/centos-2/updates/headers/header.info mentions this line: 1:IBMJava2-JRE-1.3.1-10.i386=i386/IBMJava2-JRE-1.3.1-10.i386.rpm But that file doesn't seem to exist anywhere. So I end up with this error and it exits. getting /var/cache/yum/update/headers/IBMJava2-JRE-1-1.3.1-10.i386.hdr Error getting file

Hi All, My quest is going slowly but surely and I am learning a lot. I use ColdFusion. I installed in on My CentOS 5.3 instance and all was well. I added: DirectoryIndex index.html index.html.var index.php index.cfm index.cfml to httpd.conf and restarted. I put an index.cfm page in /var/www/html and removed the standard index.html and I can see when I hit my IP it works. I then created
