£50 for help in my masters dissertation kalman filter forecasting
Dear R users,
Just to clarify. I am not offering to pay someone to do my Dissertation.
These 4-5 commands on Kalman Filter would be only a tiny part of my 10,000
words dissertation. A part that even after trying for a few days, I am still
stuck on. I am offering ?50, just to say thanks.

Package documentation in dissertation
Hey Everyone,
I wrote up a library for my dissertation work, and I'd love to include
it as an appendix. I have found ways to export the Rd files as html,
txt and pdf/ps, but not a raw tex export. I've had to resort to dumping
it into text files, and just using verbatim in my LaTeX code. Does
anybody have any recommendations or experiences with dealing with this?

my literature review, it's quite obvious that German firms have much better
CSR initiatives and strategies than the Chinese ones and I wanted to test

How do you buy wine?
Hello, I am a student of economics.
Looking at the various forums on the web I came up with the curiosity to study the process of buying wine.
For me it would be useful if you want to complete a questionnaire that I made for my master dissertation. Complete anonymity is guaranteed., and, if you want, I'll send you the results.
Thank you in advance for your participation!

Sweave line length
Hello,
I am trying to add R code to my dissertation and the length of a line
of text that Sweave generates is longer than the right margin in my
dissertation. I have found no way to tell Sweave how to set the line
length. I am using an iMac with tiger ver. 10.4.10, and R: ver.
2.5.1. Here is the R code that is longer than my right margin:

OK, so I have taken the changes to BitWriter.cpp from svn and that
builds that section of code OK for llvm-2.3. The next part I will need
help with, as I dont really know where to start:

[SPAM] - Re: How to assess significance of random effect in lme4 - Bayesian Filter detected spam
Actually, I re-read the post and think it needs clarification. We may
both be right. If the question is "I am building a model and want to
know if I should retain this random effect?" (or something like that)
then the LRT should be used to compare the fitted model against another
model. This would be accomplished via anova().
In other multilevel programs, the variance components are

Spearman's analysis
I have computed correlation coefficients for my dissertation data using
Spearman's Rho with adjustments for tie scores; however, I do not have access
to a way to find exact p's. I have a friend who has R but he doesn't know if
it is appropriate for my analysis, given the constraint of tie scores? Can
you advise me? Thanks. Michele Fagan
