4-STABLE b0rked in share/locale/zh_CN.GBK
Murray, Your commits earlier this evening to zh_CN.GB18030 fixed that -STABLE breakage, but zh_CN.GBK appears still to be missing, which causes 'make installworld' to fail. Can you please fix this as well? install -m 644 -o root -g wheel uk_UA.KOI8-U.out /usr/share/locale/uk_UA.KOI8-U/LC_CTYPE install -m 644 -o root -g wheel zh_CN.eucCN.out /usr/share/locale/zh_CN.eucCN/LC_CTYPE

[LLVMdev] LLD input graph handling proposal
Shankar and I discussed input file handling, and we came up with a design that may greatly simplify the input file handling, while giving more flexibility to developer to support complicated options, such as --{start,end}-group, -z rescan or -z rescan-now. It'd worth pursuing, so here's the idea: 1. We wouldn't probably want to let Resolver to handle the input graph directly, for we

[PATCH] add restricted mode to sftp-server
Hello. These patches add a new mode of operation for the sftp server. It is located between the ordinary, unrestricted mode and read-only mode. It allows you to add files to the server, but only if these files do not exist on the server before. Changes to existing files - are prohibited. Please review them, maybe these patches will be useful not only to me. Thank you. -------------- next part

request.xhr? is false after redirecting an AJAX request?
Dear everybody I''m trying to develop a web application that makes use of AJAX, but also works if a user has no (or doesn''t want to use) JS. For normal requests, this is pretty easy. Almost every action ends with render blahblah, :layout => !request.xhr? This way, I can use the same action to render a full page (with layout) as well as rendering an AJAX request (only the

S/R/RWeb/ODBC
I'm looking for an optimal approach to access Oracle databases via RWeb applications. I'm new to R but familiar with programming functions and web pages for the S+ Statserver. I'm now going through the motions of migrating S+/Statserver applications to R/RWeb as a feasability exercise. I can access databases using ODBC directly in R or S, and using Statserver, but I have not succeeded

syslinux 3.11 patch for handling both KVM and serial console input
We modified our copy of syslinux. We're now sharing those modifications. That's so that: 1. We fulfill our requirements under the GPL 2. Our modifications might be picked up and included in the base code. That way we wouldn't have to make the same modifications, again, later. Since we're using CentOS 5.3, and CentOS 5.3 derives from RHEL 5.3, and RHEL 5.3 uses

new Ajax.Updater('about-content', 'rails/info/properties',
The default index page has a neat trick for dumping out environmental information. I would like to see how this works by looking at the code that the XHR gets back from rubyonrails.org, but I can''t figure out how. How do I look at this? Is it online in a browser visible way? How to make a ajax (xhr) redirect?
Hi all, In my application, I want seamless degradability so I use request.xhr? to check whether a request is an ajax call. However here and there, I need to use redirect_to - in this case the request is not xhr anymore, and the check doesn''t work as expected. Is there a way to make xhr- like redirect (which allow to get to another controller+action)? Thanks, - Chuong
