FW: QoS extension to Net-SNMP
Hi.
I did send this to `jaazz@post.cz'', but I suspect the list is a more
appropriate/useful place for it. It''s a question about Michal Charvat''s QoS
extension to Net-SNMP.
When I look at the MIB entries for the QoS handles, I get something like
this -
enterprises.qos.qosObjectTable.qosObject.qosHandle.0.0 = Gauge32: 0

No matching MIB found for sysOID
Hello all,
Thank you in advance for a great FOSS project. Also, thank you for reading my question.
I have a CyberPower OR1500LCDRTXL2U with an RMCARD205. There are a handful of devices plugged into the UPS.
I received a message today saying to send upsc output to NUT developers after this message: "No matching MIB found for sysOID '.1.3.6.1.4.1.3808.1.1.1'"

snmp statistics for vnics
1 simple question about network statistics for vnics:
We noticed that the statistics for vnics (used by Virtualbox guests) are not there. When the nics are plumped in the host OS, we do see them showing up, but all all records are 0.
Can someone tell me how to get the correct network info via snmp on the Vbox Host??
Thanks in advance.

Snmp cpuRawIdle showing double
Posted this to xen-users back in Oct
(http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/xen/users/186768), but just
confirmed that I''m still seeing this behavior on 4.1.
Polling the UCE-SNMP-MIB::ssCpuRawIdle counter results in a total that''s
double the actual number of cpu''s on the system, so for example:
nms ~ # snmpwalk -v 2c -c ''XXX'' xen1

monitoring classes
Greetings all,
I''ve been searching high and low for any inkling of how people are
monitoring classes for long term usage data. I''m thinking something along
a script to collect the data for mrtg or perhaps even an snmp module that
would present them as interfaces to be polled....has anyone done any work
in this area?

can't get Ethernet SNMP information
Hi all,
I hope someone can help me with this one.
I'm trying to graph all traffic on the localhost's network card with Cacti.
>From what I understand I should use SNMP to query the traffic, but I can't
seem to get SNMP info for the network interface.
I have installed all the necessary snmp tools, "yum install snmpd net-snmp
net-snmp-utils net-snmp-devel net-snmpt-libs "

rtnetlink documentation
Hello,
I would like to ask, if somewhere exists documentation about rtnetlink
interface? Something more than kernel documentation and manual pages
(man rtnetlink and man netlink).
I want create traffic classes, filters and so on (only cbq classes and
some filters based on fwmark), like tc utility from
Alexey does, but can''t find any relevant docs on net.

x86_64 snmp Centos 3.x
Does anyone know if the 3.8 update will fix the long-standing
problem with snmp interface counters on 64 bit machines? I
think it was mentioned in the RH notes, but they said that
a year ago too... (The problem is that the 32 bit counters
don't wrap correctly so mrtg/cacti graphs go crazy after
2 gigs of data have gone by).

tc monitoring
I have managed to dynamically parse the output of commands:
tc qdisc ls dev eth0 and
tc -s class show dev eth0
Save statistics in an rrd database and display it via a php script.
see http://143.233.4.215/graph.php and dload scripts from
http://143.233.4.210/qos/
My next step in developing this monitoring software is to somehow manage to
create a tree out of tc and then use it to greatly

Asterisk SIP woes
Hi Guys,
Hope fully somebody out there will have experienced this and can shed some
light on how it was overcome.
Current setup includes asterisk 1.6.2.11, GNU GK and a Quintum Tenor CMS on
the same lan. Earlier I was unable to make a sip call from the CMS back to a
sip client registered on my asterisk box. So I moved onto passing the call
from the Quintum CMS to a Quintum Tenore DX which is also

NUT vs PowerWalker/BlueWalker SNMP with VFI 1500RM/3000RM LCD models
Hello,
I have two UPS from PowerWalker: VFI 1500RM LCD and VFI 3000RM LCD both
equiped with SNMP card, but NUT with snmp-ups does not support them.
PowerWalker declare support RFC1213, RFC162 but there is a problem with
some snmp values:
# upsdrvctl start
Network UPS Tools - UPS driver controller 2.6.4
Network UPS Tools - Generic SNMP UPS driver 0.66 (2.6.4)
Detected 3K on host 10.0.0.236
