3) Copied my app over to rails_apps directory.
4) Added a virtual host to Apache identical to cookbook (just using port

Test errors
I''m working on learning user auth and ran a test/unit/test.rb and seem to
have stumbled across some errors. This is from a tutorial on the web and I
pretty much copied the code and checked syntax so not sure where it''s
wrong. I thought I''d throw it out since I"m new to ROR and the error didn''t

Base directory for apps
Is there any way to specify a root project directory other than the
default ''rails_apps'' subdirectory?
We have a few Rails projects on different drives that cannot be moved.
We''re using Windows, so symlinks are out of the question.
Thanks.

Problems saving an uploaded image to an app folder
In my app, the user can upload images. Rather than shoving the image
data in the database, i want to put the filename and content type into
the db, then rename the image with its record''s id number, and then save
it into a local folder in my app folder. (hardcoded for now)
All the details are being saved to the db ok, so as far as i know the
"picture_file=" method is fine.
