Informix adapter testing
I''ve just written an ActiveRecord adapter for Informix. It lacks a
pair of features that I will add later, but it works for me.
I found this on the web:
http://wiki.rubyonrails.com/rails/pages/HowToWriteAnActiveRecordAdapter
and followed it, but when I get to
$ rake test_informix
I get the following error messages:

Informix adapter for Ruby on Rails
We can now use Informix as back-end for our Rails applications. Here''s
the code of the adapter:
http://rubyforge.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/rails-informix/?root=rails-informix
It has been tested succesfully on Solaris 9/Informix 9.40/Rails 1.0.0.
Since Informix doesn''t allow quoting a value for a [CB]LOB in a query,
I had to override some methods of ActiveRecord::Base to accept a

activerecord-odbc-adapter 2.0 failed to allocate memory
I''m currently trying to connect rails to a legacy SqlServer database. System
is windows XP and my attempts to connect with activerecord sql adapter and

probably more used. I''m using active_record_store as session store, and

activerecord-sqlserver adapter broken or worse
The activerecord-sqlserver-adapter gem is still sort of available via
gems.rubyonrails.org, but it will not install on machines that have
Rails 2.1 (or its version of ActiveSupport) installed. This has been
confirmed with versions of rubygems through 1.2.
This seems to indicate that Rails is no longer tested against the MSSQL
adapter and that the adapter is also no longer tested against Rails
