more questions.
I forgot to ask a few more. Is there a relation between the hashtable ID /(parent,handle) so that if I used 2: for a hash table I could or couldn''t use 2: for a (parent, handle)ID? I also noticed that you type the hashtables like 2:2: can you have more levels with this? like 2:2:2:1: ? and I guess the same question with the parent/handles. thanks again. -- When dealing with a slow

how to get the index of entry with max value in an array?
Hi all: A short question: For example, a=[3,4,6,2,3], obviously the 3rd entry of the array has the maxium value, what I want is index of the maxium value: 3. is there a neat expression to get this index? Thank you! Best, Feng [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

IPv6 Host and Router.
I have a connection to an ISP with a 6to4 tunnel. I can ping and route through my linux box, but I can''t connect to services on the box from local subnets. For example I am trying to get a BGP connection up with Zebra over the Tunnel. I can see the BGP Syn requests from them, but my box does not respond. I have another tunnel to another linux box and when I make a connection from box

Sorry for all the questions I''m just trying to understand how it all works. Thank you for your time. Is the following configuration possible? where ht 800 links to 3: for the 3rd Octet in the IP and then 3: links to 4: for the fourth Octet? tc filter add dev eth0 parent 1:0 prio 10 handle 3: protocol ip u32 divisor 256 tc filter add dev eth0 protocol ip parent 1:0 prio 10 u32 ht 800::

Hashtables major:minor and prio
I have a question about a few things: ok when you have parent x:x and handle x:x link x:x flowid and so on. What is the max values of each of these, also where these or some of these hex numbers? I tried this on redhat 7.3 so there may have been some updates, but this is one of the tests I did. [root@RL1 root]# tc filter add dev eth0 protocol ip parent 1:0 prio 10 u32 ht fffe:: match ip dst

Battlefield bad company 2
Hello, Im a new ubuntu's user. I started using it about 3 days ago. I installed wine with wow, and work's perfectly about 75 fps. Then i've installed D3d9 library, directx10 library, directx9 library, and so many other things to be able to play BFBC2. The first problem was a black screen, i found the solution on internet's webpage. The second problem was resolution, and i found a

TC Hashing Filters
Hey all, I had asked a question a little while ago about CPU usage being outrageous while using tc and a cbq qdisc. Ed was very kind and offered a few suggestions. One of these was to look at hashing. So after pounding away at it for about a week, I have a general understanding of how it works and have tried to implement it. Unfortunately, and quite obviously since I''m posting here, it

Need a more efficient way to implement this type of logic in R
I have cobbled together the following logic. It works but is very slow. I'm sure that there must be a better r-specific way to implement this kind of thing, but have been unable to find/understand one. Any help would be appreciated. hh.sub <- households[c("HOUSEID","HHFAMINC")] for (indx in 1:length(hh.sub$HOUSEID)) { if ((hh.sub$HHFAMINC[indx] == '01')

is that possible to graph 4 dimention plot
Suppose there are 4 variables d is a function of a , b and c I want to know how a, b and c change will make d change It will be straightforward to see it if we can graph the d surface if d is only a function of a and b, I can use 'persp' to see the surface of d. I can easily see at what values of a and b, d will get the maxium or minium or multiple modes, etc But for 4 dimention graph,

Plot problem
Dear list, I have a question about using plot(). I tried the code: <pdf("mel_chr_all_13cancer_cghFLasso_all.pdf", height=6, width=11);plot( Disease.FL, index=1:4, type="All");dev.off(); and it went through well which outputed 4 plots for 4 samples in one page. But if I increase the numbers of plots(samples) which I want, saying to 11,

Looking for a prepaid calling card platform
I'm looking for a prepaid calling card platform that: * easily scales to multiple servers with a common database for: redundancy, capacity, and performance Looking to start with capacity to handle 100 simultaneous calls and be able to easily scale to 1000+ simultaneous calls. * in addition to the normal anti-fraud measures, supports an API for easily adding new anti-fraud tests along the

System Requirements for Samba?
Hi Rob, I'm not sure you will get much pleasure out of VirtualBox on that hardware. It sits completely on top of the OS and it will grab most of the resources, even hogging from the OS. And it will run very hot. The Xen hypervisor (incl. XenServer, XCP-NG) is very resource efficient and with Linux guests (PV or PVHVM), it will run very smoothly. The same applies to KVM. My FX-6300 box

read large amount of data
Hi, I have a dataset with 2194651x135, in which all the numbers are 0,1,2, and is bar-delimited. I used the following approach which can handle 100,000 lines: t<-scan('fv', sep='|', nlines=100000) t1<-matrix(t, nrow=135, ncol=100000) t2<-t(t1) t3<-as.data.frame(t2) I changed my plan into using stratified sampling with replacement (col 2 is my class variable: 1 or 2).

Max calls & IAX2 trunking
Is it possible to increment a call group (Max_Calls) from one server to the next server? I'm trying to set a maximum call limit between two facilities (2 Asterisk servers) using Set Group. I want the limit to be set at 4. The problem with the code that I have in place, is it allows for 4 on each server, hence the possibility of maxium of 8 concurrent calls. I need to be able to, when 1
