Frustrated with RoR environment splintering
Why isnt the RoR community focusing on robust and scalable mod_perl style of Apache environment, rather then splintering all over the place with lighthttp, mongrel, WEBrick, SCGI, fcgi, etc??? Its frustrating as someone who is trying to migrate to RoR. Its very unlikely I would ever get a contract to work on any webserver except Apache, so it would seem logicaly to focus all our efforts to

What is the event that triggers them and how often this event apears ( per second ? ) ? When a qdisc is dequeued ( when it''s limit is reached ) ? Thanks _______________________________________________ LARTC mailing list /

why ADD_DNAT_ALIASES missing?
hi, is there any reason why there is no such thing as ADD_DNAT_ALIASES in shorewall.conf or in rules (or am i just missed it)? i think about it like in masq file if the masquaraded outgoing interface is different from the default firewall intyerface than i can use ip:<digit> where the digit is the alias number. since dnat is in the rules it can be used from there. eg: if would like to dnat

Question: Is there a way to automaticaly, after a certain amount of time, unlock a file after, for example, a client crash or network problem? I know how to do it manually of course, but that is, well, cumbersome. I've looked at

Namespace delimiter...
As RFC3501 (IMAP) say: 'A NIL hierarchy delimiter means that no hierarchy exists; the name is a "flat" name.' How to change delimiter to NIL? We have flat namespaces in our storage. Now I hardcoded this and everything is working, but maybe it is another possibility... -- Konrad

Unsynchronized object state detection
Is there a way to specify on a per-object basis that Puppet should merely report that an object needs to be updated without actually performing the update? This would make it possible to detect changes to critical objects (e.g. config files) that Puppet shouldn''t try to fix automaticaly. -- Jos Backus jos at catnook.com
