[RFC][ThinLTO] llvm-dis ThinLTO summary dump format
Great! For the hotness, try creating a small test case with a very hot loop that iterates many times. Let me know if you are still having trouble. While the llvm-dis serialization is being discussed, I suppose at the very least this can go in with the rest of the existing YAML summary dumping and get emitted from llvm-lto2 using the patch Peter attached. Peter - do you want to add that to

GSOC ThinLTO Proposal
Hey All, My name is Charles, and I'm interested in working on LLVM for GSOC. I watched the 2016 LLVM conference ThinLTO talk and found it super interesting. I'd like to work on it for GSOC. Since I'm currently working on my proposal, I talked\ with Mehdi on IRC to learn more about the project and find what kind of contribution would be useful. He mentioned that the big pieces of work

systems hang when accessing parts of the OCFS2 file system
Hi everyone Firstly, apologies for the cross post, I am not sure which list is most appropriate for this question. I should also point out, that I did not install OCFS2 and I am not the person that normally looks after these kind of things, so please can you bear that in mind when you make any suggestions (I will need a lot of detail!) The problem: accessing certain directories within the

[RFC][ThinLTO] llvm-dis ThinLTO summary dump format
Oh I just see that there were already a bunch of answers. I missed the thread, sorry. So basically my intuitive approach on this is close to what I perceive Peter's position is: - don't create a new format if there is already one. - if you really have a good reason to create a new format, it should replace the existing one (i.e. don't maintain two). - ideally we should be able to

[ThinLTO] Suggestions on how to traverse SCCs in the Module Summary Index bottom up
Hey all, I'm working on adding function attribute propagation to function summaries in the ThinLTO index, and have run into some trouble with ensuring bottom-up traversal when finding the SCCs in the call graph. I'm basing my implementation for the GraphTraits for the ModuleSummaryIndex off the GraphTraits<CallGraph *> implementation (

OpenGL issues on OSX (wine 1.3.21)
I just compiled 1.3.21 on OSX using the osxwinebuilder script. It's the first time I try wine on the Mac. I've tried some short OpenGL demos and they work, but others fail. Remarkable ones that fail are wxWidgets OpenGL demos (remarkable because the source is available, so I guess it should be easy to fix). I run OSX 10.6.7. While running the wxWidgets "penguin" demo, the

[LLVMdev] Indirect function call
The follwing is a snippet of code to find some indirect calls in a module, which I learned from TopDownClosure.cpp: void FPS::repairCallGraph(Module &M) { CompleteBUDataStructures &DS = getAnalysis<CompleteBUDataStructures>(); for (Module::iterator f = M.begin(); f != M.end(); ++f ) { if( f->isExternal() ) continue; for (Function::iterator I = f->begin(); I !=
