HTB problem...
Hi folks. Let''s say I would like to make some bandwidth control on my network using HTB. I have 2 clients: PC1: 192.168.100.2 PC2: 192.168.100.3 Server: 192.168.100.1 This has 2 NIC''s eth1 is local and eth2 is connected to the internet. It could be nice to have a script, where you could specify, how much bandwidth you want for a specific host on a network, like, PC1 has

IP based bandwith limit
Hi, i''ve following problem. One of our gateway router, which connects some of our customers should have bandwith limit. So customer A with IP XX should have 2 Mbit, customer B with IP YY should have 10 Mbit. There is no need of borrowing bandwith so no fairness needed. My simple question: with which technique should I manage this shaping? Or is there any existing project which

PowerPC can not accurately run HTM
I am running HTB on a PowerPC platform and using following script to do rate limit. When I set rate of class 1:11 lower than 4mbit, I can get traffic rate close to the setting. However, if I set the rate higher than 4mbit, I will get much lower bandwidth (roughly 4.5mbit) than the setting, no matter how big the setting is. To verify the script, I run it on PC with then I got correct result. Could

Server Side Spot Replacement?
Hi Lin, Thank you for your response. If I understand you correct your suggestion is one mount for ads per listener? Or is it possible to move everyone to a single mount with a scripted playlist that plays individual ads from a different CDN based on URL, IP and querystring parameters etc? Would love more detailed help to how/if something like that can be achieved. And how do I “from the outside”

Some bugs in DIAX 0.9.9f are now solved
Hi all, With the great help of some of the DIAX users, 2 bugs where corrected and the files from my site updated. 1. Error sending X10 commands on some systems 2. "Run-time error '13', Type mismatch" crash everytime Config -> Audio is selected This seems to be related with Visual Studio /.NET and the new VB runtime libraries. Please download the files again if you have

Server Side Spot Replacement?
Hi Philipp, Thank you for insights and suggestions. Please see my recent answer and questions to Lin in the same matter. I'm talking about thousands of listeners, and individual mounts are probably not the way to go. A dream scenario would be to trigger a move of all listeners at the start of an ad break to a mount with a dynamic scripted playlist of ads playing from a separate CDN. And move

HTB and HTTP latency
Hi. Has anybody experienced problems with HTB and latency? The case is: I''m allocating traffic for HTTP traffic. It seems more responsive without using HTB. Rsync progress indicator?
I've been reading through the man pages for rsync, yet I can't seem to find a way to provide progress indication and/or current download speed for total and/or individual files... Can this be done with rsync? Is it an implemented feature. I thought -v or -vv would do the trick, but it doesn't... Cheers, -- Dag Rune Sneeggen Romolslia 23B 7029 Trondheim Norway dudcore Inc.

I need some C8 troubleshooting help with MATE. I'm building a ZFS storage server with a SuperMicro H11SSL motherboard, EPYC 7232 CPU, and 32 GB ECC SDRAM. I installed CentOS 8.1.1911 from the iso as soon as it was released. I'm using the on-board ASPEED VGA video. I installed MATE v1.22 from https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/stenstorp/MATE/. The following packages are installed:
