Error in AnnotationDbi package - makeProbePackage
Dear all,
We have developed our own Affymetrix chip (Custom Express Array, PM-only
with two species).
I want to analyse the data with the limma package, but for that I need to
built my own CDF package,
probe package and built the filters to analyse one specie or another.
I'm using the makeProbePackage available in the AnnotationDbi (for a
R-2.13.0) but I got the following error message:

I try to use tc on mips with linux-2.4.18 but the u32 filter dosn''t work
I added htb qdisc to linux-2.4.18 and use it to limit the speed in
LAN, it only work well on the default class, for example
tc qdisc add dev eth0 root handle 1: htb default 10
tc class add dev eth0 parent 1:0 classid 1:1 htb rate 2000kbit
tc class add dev eth0 parent 1:1 classid 1:10 htb rate 500kbit ceil 500kbit

Attempting new app - EES (Engineering Equation Solver)
I've uninstalled windows and this seems to be the
final hurdle as there doesn't seem to be a comparable
linux app (thermodynamics equation solver). I
absolutely need this program for my engineering
classes. Wine looks great, and the gui winetools is
pretty neat too. While running the program i get:

inconsistent output when using variable substitution
I am extremely puzzled by this behavior in R. I have a data frame called
Trials in which I have results from an experiment. I am trying to do a
subjects analysis, but getting weird results. Each row has 1 trial in it,
which includes a column for the subject number I get the list of subject
numbers like so:
> Subj=unique(sort(Trials$Subj))
Then I loop over them. But I get strange results. As

Quotes from BHH2e
Yesterday I had the opportunity to attend a seminar by George Box where
he discussed some of the ideas that will be incorporated in the second
edition of Box, Hunter, and Hunter "Statistics for Experimenters" due
out in a few months.
At the end of the presentation he distributed a list of quotes from the
book and I felt that many of these would be appealing to members of this

cant browse user home directories
I had to reainstall my server and couldnt avoid upgrading samba. Before
reinstalling, I had samba configured to let users browse their home
folders from Windows PCs using their Unix system user/pass. Now, it is
not possible, I have just managed to implement the same authentication
system as before and give access to a public folder. The home folders
remains invisible, if I set browseable = yes,

does the inbound traffic affect the outbound on 2 different interfaces
hey guys
i am regulating the traffic to & fro by my network through a
linux gateway , its behaving strange. i regulated Downlink to 2Mbps &
UPlLINK to 500Kbps. both perform well when those are done independent
i.e. one at a time
but when i do both from a client system ..the downlink however
continues at 2mbps but the uplink falls down to 100kbps?
is something wrong with my script or
