Hi,
I've setup a trixbox 1.2.2 instalation with digium b410p. It uses misdn
driver.
I'm able to place calls and receive calls using this interface.
One thing that happens is when i dial an a number from a sip client to an
number that is routed through b410p and the called party rejects the call,
asterisk doesn't detect the hangup. The sip client remains in ringing waiting

Subscript out of bounds- (my) problem with expansion of expression?
Hi,
I have this problem (R 1.2.2 on Pentium, OS WinNT4 SP6) :
mytable
is a 3D (n*p*2) table of non-negative "integers".
There is a need to do n times
chisq.test (rbind(mytable[i,,1], mytable[i,,2])) #on p*2 tables
Columns with zero value in the first row should be omitted, for example
chisq.test (rbind(mytable[i,-c(3,4,6),1], mytable[i,-c(3,4,6),2])) #for
i-th table with zero

MSN Messenger 4.7 vs 5.0
Hi.
This is perhaps a little bit off-topic here, but I couldn't
find informations elsewhere, so perhaps someone can help me:
I've been using Messenger 4.7 for a while on my W2k Laptop
to place SIP-Calls via asterisk with messengers
"communications service" feature. Works fine.
Then I thought that it would be a good idea to do an upgrade
to v5.0... (yes, never touch a running

MSN Messenger in Wine?
It's marked "garbage" in the appdb, because the installer doesn't run
without quite a bit of tweaking. But anyway ...
I want to get MSN working in Wine. It's for my girlfriend's daughter,
whose XP box just got trashed by a virus/rootkit (spread via MSN, of
course). So we've saved her stuff and we're nuking and paving the box.
I would like to use Ubuntu instead of

Traffic shaper based on UIDs
Hello!
I need assistance to solve my problem related to traffic shaping based on
the user ids.
The problem: each unix user (of the linux host) has to be limited with
incoming channel (internet) bandwidth. I need this to implement
internet access solution based on ltsp (http://www.ltsp.org).
As far as I know the best way to shape traffic in linux is CBQ.
But there is no filter based on unix

error in optim, within polr(): "initial value in 'vmmin' is not finite"
Hi all. I'm just starting to explore ordinal multinomial regression. My dataset is 300,000 rows, with an outcome (ordinal factor from 1 to 9) and five independent variables (all continuous). My first stab at it was this:
pomod <- polr(Npf ~ o_stddev + o_skewness + o_kurtosis + o_acl_1e + dispersal, rlc, Hess=TRUE)
And that worked; I got a good model fit. However, a variety of other

Coxph with factors
Hello,
I am fitting a coxph model with factors. I am running into problems when
using 'survfit'. I am unsure how R is treating the factors when I fit, say:
> DATA<-data.frame(time.sec,done,f.pom=factor(f.pom),po,vo)
> final<-coxph(Surv(time.sec,done)~f.pom*vo+po,data=DATA)
> final.surv<-survfit((final), individual=T,conf.type="log-log")
