Anyone have the userguide''s tc script and the corresponding ethloop input files?
I''m trying to get picture from ethloop and gnuplot. But the output seems weird. I still do not know why and want some examples. Determining burst/cburst HTB values
Hello. I am wondering if the default (auto-computed) burst and cburst parameters are appropriate values for my application. I have a 100 mbit interface which is connected to a 16 mbit uplink. I am sharing this bandwidth into a set of partitions (tc classes) defined as follows: root class [1:1] |

HTB question, tokens.
Hi, What exactly are the "tokens"? I thought each token allowed the sending of one byte, that tokens are stored in a bucket that can hold a max of "burst" tokens, and that this bucket is filled with tokens at "rate". But theory does not seem to explain the "tc -s .." output in the examples below. And I can''t figure out why or how... #tc qdisc

htb & bandwidth sharing
Hi everybody! I''ve been trying with htb and tc filter. It seemed to work fine, but after testing with ethloop I''ve realized that traffic is not being distributed through the leaves as I thought. When sending packets to 1:10 and 1:11 at the same time, there''s no bandwidth sharing. There''s no traffic through 1:11 until traffic through 1:10 has finished. Though

Traffic generation and measurement
Hello, i am searching for a method to generate traffic and measure it, to compare several version of tc configurations. For my thesis i am researching the best way to use tc for medium sized companies. For this purpose i analyzed the company network and created a tc schema. Now i have to test this definition in a kind of simulation outside the network. Also i have to do a comparison of the

te410p not working after cvs-head update
I have a TE410P running on CentOS 4 which (fortunately) is my test system. This card has been working flawlessly for the past few weeks. Today I did a cvs update to the latest head files, and the card is now not working. When I try a zaptel start, a series of messages appears on the console: Found TE410p at base address fdff0000, remapped to f8a34000 TE410P version c01a010b, burst ON, slip

3.0.0pre3: rfc-1149 speeds on 100 mbit lan
I upgraded to pre3 a couple hours ago & right now I'm watching my 00:00 backup set absolutely _crawl_. Typically, backups would have been finished somewhere in the 00:10 to 00:30 range, depending how much data changed across 6 machines in the past day. As I write this, the 3rd of 6 machines is (hopefully) just finishing its backup with no more than the usual changes per machine. Whiskey

Zap / dahdi errors
getting some errors on my test system. this is 1.4 (Asterisk SVN-branch-1.4-r214194) with a 4 port T412p card. Three of the ports are connected: Span 1 to the PSTN on a 10 channel bearer line, ports 2 and 3 are cross-overed (!) to each other. Port 4 is not plugged in. This has been working fine for several months. I updated a few days ago to the latest 1.4 branch. However, now I cannot dial into
