Cent OS 5 server setup walkthrough
I have just finished setting up and configuring a server running CentOS 5
with 2 Xen VMs. This article describes my journey through this, including
the problems I faced and there solutions. It documents the installation of
CentOS 5, from a single CD, adding software, configuring squid, NFS, Xen,
etc and sharing yum cache and lot more!

It would, were udev not inserting USB and/or eSATA drives at /dev/sdb1
and/or /dev/sdc1 and exposing the array to the udev rule intended to
handle only removable devices (at sdc or sdd). The array then mounts
unpredictably in /media/xxx-sdc1 or sdd1 - not what is wanted - depend
on how many removable devices are plugged at the time of rebooting. Of

How to Retrieve content of the document?
Hi,
I have just started using xapian and I may sound like a noob. I want to know
how i can access the content of the document retrieved while searching. I
have used the code found on this mailing list itself to index my database.

Installing Search::xapian
Sorry if this is a repost .. I have edited my query a little bit and my
previous post was too long and so was waiting approval(I cancelled it)
Ok. Another question..
I have installed the Search ::Xapian on my local machine. Now I'm trying to
install it on a machine where i dont have root access. So while running
configure of the Xapian library I gave the -prefix option and everything

winbind and local groups
Hello,
I got a Samba setup with an samba server being part of a Windows Domain,
which is working great. I can authenticate using all domain users and so
on without any problem.
Now I added a local group named "rai-additional" to my samba system and
added a domain user to that group (using DOMAIN+username).
