Adding dsmark qdisc fails
I''m trying to configure dsmark qdisc on 2.6.11.4 user mode linux and
tc from iproute2-2.6.11-050314.
I think I have some mismatch in my setup since adding dsmark qdisc
fails *unless* I specify "set_tc_index" argument which I believe should
be optional:
# tc qdisc add dev eth1 handle 1:0 root dsmark indices 8

IP Tunneling
Hello
I have /25 addressed on a box (virtual devices on eth0) and I want to
tunnel some of these addresses to my home network. One address to my
gateway (a.b.c.d, external IP) and one address to my internal network
(192.168.0.0/24-style). I will use the tunnels for irc, smtp and surfing.
What protocol and which technique is easiest and best to use?
One more thing. I don''t want to set up

We have this situation:
System A (running openSUSE 11.0 with samba-3.2.3-0.1) exports user home shares (e.g. for user sledz).
On system B (running openSUSE 11.0 with samba-3.2.3-0.1) user hydra mounts the home share from sledz at system A with this command:
sudo mount -t cifs -o user=sledz,uid=hydra //A/sledz localdir

Data collection in Linux TC queue
Dear All,
Would you guy have any advices concerning how to get some data like
queue length, pkt size, and so forth, from the running queue.
Right now, I modified the queue disc to print out some info I want using

I'm getting the following error when trying to connect the peer to the server.
Help? :)

Don''t know how to compile tc
I am trying to build iproute2-2.4.7-20010824 from source on a 2.4.24
kernel. I have played a bit with ADDLIB and LDLIBS variables but I
always get errors so I suppose it''s best if instead of playing I try to
understand what does the following mean (from the README file):
ADDLIB should contain inet_* functions, if your libc contains
obsolete resolver library (<4.9.4) and you have no

SELinux issue?
I've recently built a new mail server with centos6.5, and decided to bite the
bullet and leave SELinux running. I've stumbled through making things work and
am mostly there.
I've got my own spam and ham corpus as mbox files in /home/user/Mail/learned.
These files came from my backup of the centos 5 server this machine is replacing.
The folder is owned by the user (the following is
