Problem is the files they create are owned by root. Let's explain why this is a problem for me : - People in this group can't access their files in an unix way (ftp, shell, ...) - If one of them get removed

[PATCH][QEMU][VHOST]fix feature bit handling for mergeable rx buffers
This patch adds mergeable receive buffer support to qemu-kvm, to allow enabling it when vhost_net supports it. It also adds a missing call to vhost_net_ack_features() to push acked features to vhost_net. The patch is relative to Michael Tsirkin's qemu-kvm git tree. +-DLS Signed-off-by: David L Stevens <dlstevens at us.ibm.com> diff -ruNp qemu-kvm.mst/hw/vhost_net.c

[PATCH 7/7] x86: cleanup bogus CONFIG_ACPI_PCI uses
We''re building for one case (CONFIG_ACPI_PCI defined) only, yet still had the other case''s code in there. Additionally there was quite a bit of pseudo-duplication between disabled(!) DMI scan and ACPI boot code. acpi_pci_disabled had only a single reader, which is off by default (i.e. must be enable on the command line), so it seems pointless to keep it. Signed-off-by: Jan

Two ISP load balancing + One ISP'' subnet explicit routing
Hello! I have a problem. May be here exist anyone who has encountered with the following problem. I have a router which is connected to 2 ISP from external side and one LAN internal interface. The feature is that the one ISP allocates a subnet xxx.xxx.xxx.160/28 for me but I split it into two subnets xxx.xxx.xxx.160/29 and xxx.xxx.xxx.168/29 and assign the latter to the internal interface. Hardware Platform Recommendations for Digium Card Compatability
Hi there, Could everyone that has a working production Asterisk server that uses a Digium telephony card as a BRI/PRI gateway let me know what motherboard/processor your server uses? We use a Digium TE210P as our telephony card. We have tried a couple motherboards, and neither is giving us satisfactory zttest scores. The machine we have in production right now is a Biostar U8668-D (VIA

Too stupid to figure out shaping
First I''ll confess my sins, then I''ll beg for help. I own a small wireless ISP, and I sell service at three levels, 256kb/s, 384kb/s, and 512kb/s. For about 18 months, I thought I had this bandwidth limiting figured out. I had three HTB classes off the root, one each with the limits above. Since each customer has a single IP address, I used iptables to mark packets

Bandwidth shaping and ISP''s network peerings
Hello all! I have a small LAN at home and when someone starts to download (only one), interractive traffic (www, chat and online games) is impossible with standard kernel queues setup... So I started to shape. My ISP gives me a 512 kbits link to the Internet and a 100 Mbits link to some of the other big ISPs in my country. If I set the rate of the parent htb qdisc at 512 kbits, I will never use
