mount share using kerberos ticket fails
Hi list,
I joined a workstation (Debian 10, Samba from distribution) to our AD
domain (Windows 2012 Server). The domain ends by ".local" (yes I know,
not my fault).
However, after a domain user logged to the machine, I can't mount a
share that exists on the AD server using user's kerberos ticket: it
fails with error "Required key not available".
Mounting using

how to reroute all ADSL traffic via another server on the internet?
Hi all,
Does anyone know, if it's possible to reroute all (i.e. HTTP / FTP /
DNS / SMTP / POP3 / IMAP / etc) from an ADSL connected machine via
another server, which is currently hosted with IS and has full
internet access?
i.e. Can I setup another machine, on a different public IP than the
dynamic ADSL IP as default gw? OR do I need todo something on that
machine to work as a router for

[Bug 479] tunnel0 and br0
https://bugzilla.netfilter.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=479
------- Additional Comments From kaber@trash.net 2006-05-22 14:42 MET -------
It is not entirely clear what you are trying to show with that LOG line.
How is the traffic flowing, what do you expect? And why is it visible
in plaintext on the br0 device? Please also include your kernel version.

Yikes! Routing issues!
We switched over from a bordermanager firewall to a shorewall firewall.
Some stuff is not working now.
I realized that I had not created the route for the network that is not
working however once I created it, it still didn''t work.
Most of our network is fine however some pieces are not working.

broadcast over gre tunnel?
Hello,
I connected the network 192.168.1.0 with 192.168.2.0 over the internet
trough a GRE-Tunnel.
I don''t know if I set up all things right: The client-pcs in both networks
have a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and 192.168.2.x''s default gateway is the
server wich has started the tunnel.
The 192.168.1.x''s default gateway is 192.168.1.250 wich routes traffic

mount share using kerberos ticket fails
Did you "deleated the computer object" to allow kerberos services.
And did you add the CIFS/spn to the computer and keytab ?
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Generating_Keytabs
If its a member, which i assume.
kinit Administrator
net ads keytab add cifs/$(hostname -f) -k
net ads keytab add_update_ads -k
Add these and it should work.
You might need to restart or reboot., sometimes

I am sorry, I don't really understand the above: mount requires a keytab
AND a user ticket?

MTU issue when using GRE over tinc
[Disclaimer : I'm not a network engineer]
Hi,
In a setup where OpenVSwitch is used with GRE tunels on top of an interface provided by tinc, I'm experiencing MTU problems and I'm not sure how to fix them. The manifestation of the problem is, from the user point of view, communication hang. And using "tcpdump -i there" displays lines such as :

Hello,
I''m trying to setup a central IPSEC-Gateway with several ipsec tunnels.
Some are to be routed over one leased line, some over the other leased
line. Both leased lines have their own public ip adress.
The setup looks kinda like this:

Pvgrub on Debian dom0
Hi,
Having a problem getting a domu to boot correctly.
When I enter xl create guest it boots straight into grubdom.
If I enter the config location in grubdom t boots as expected.
The location of the grub.cfg is the same in my domu config as what in entering but just will not work.
Any ideas?

shorewall suddenly dropping all from outside
Hi List,
I read this list for nearly two years and learnt a lot, but now i have
a very strange problem I can''t solve..
I have a firewall machine running Debian, which connects a small
office to the internet via a DSL-line (with pppoe) and which is
running Shorewall. It allows all outbound traffic and accepts pptp,
openvpn and ssh-connections (on a non-standard port) from the
internet.

equalize / ecmp not working as expected in 2.6 vs 2.4
Hi,
With kernel 2.4 I was able to use equalize to send our outgoing packets to
two different routers (our isp supports this setup), like this:
ip route add default src ip.a.dd.rr equalize nexthop via <router1> weight 1
nexthop via <router2> weight 1
The two routes were used equally on a per packet basis, not per flow or per
cached route, but per packet, each line has 800k upload

transport multicast traffic through a gre tunnel.
Hi All,
As it is written in the "Linux 2.4 Advanced Routing HOWTO" GRE tunneling
has some benefits compare to IP-in-IP, on of it benefits is the ability to
transport multicast traffic through a GRE tunnel.
I used the mrouted daemon and I know that the daemon supports tunneling but
I don''t want to use its tunneling method.
Assuming I have gre0 as my tunneling device I did the

How to use "xe tunnel-create" to create GRE tunnel?
Hi,
In XenServer5.6 FP1 beta, I have switched default bridge to open
vswitch, I wonder how to use "xe tunnel-create" to create a GRE tunnel.
my commands:
xe tunnel-create pif-uuid=eth0_uuid
network-uuid=network_created_by_xe_network_create
then I got an uuid which is "access-PIF" of output from "xe tunnel-list".
what should I do next? how to set remote_ip
