how to make dhcrelay service use libvirt's interfaces?
hi everybody
in my libvirtd I use bridge with route forward mode,
Problem for me is dhcrelay.service on host which is starting
before libvirtd thus not listening on libvirt interface.
OS is RHEL7.
I wonder if you know how to fix it, besides restarting
dhcrelay that is.
many thanks

PXELINUX - no boot file found
PXELinux from a DHCP server - read the docs - couldnt be simpler.
I'm afraid its beaten me, no matter what I do I always get the same result
at the client side

For the life of me I cannot see what I'm doing wrong and would appreciate
any assistance in trying to diag.

pxelinux bootup problems on EPIA-M
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had a good dhcpd.conf and /tftpboot
files for a EPIA-M motherboard with RedHat 9.0.... Or maybe
just a configuration that works with the EPIA-M (doesn't matter
which type of linux).
I'm trying to boot the system from the network and it seems to
be getting to downloading pxelinux.0 but then nothing happens
after that....
I'm using ISC dhcpd V3.0pl2,

DHCP and DomUs: not working
I''m trying to get DHCP working with DomU clients. I don''t want to use
libvirtd. There''s a dhcpd on the machine and it works fine for all clients
in the network, but not for DomUs. If I set a static IP on the DomU all
networking for them is fine, so there''s no general networking problem.
I use the xen 3.2 packages for CentOS on CentOS 5.1.
There was a public

The default tftpd daemon doesn't support the tsize option (I think,
look at the packet trace at the end, it reports the file isn't found,
but I think this is because of tsize ... but I could be

[Bridge] Strange DHCP behaviour with bridging
Here is the scenario: I have one server with kernel 2.4.24 with a bridge br0
made of 2 interfaces, eth0 and tap0 (the last is an OpenVPN tunnel), and one
remote computer connetting through tap0. If I assign a static IP to the
remote computer, the bridge works perfecly (so I think the problem is not
OpenVPN-related). If I start a DHCPd on the server and I configure the remote
client to get the

How to enable T.38 between SPA3102 PSTN Line port and ReceiveFAX app ?
Hello,
I've got an analog phone which is currently receiving unsollicited FAX
calls from PSTN.
For learning purpose, I'm preparing an Asterisk/SPA3102 setup that would
let voice calls come in and out and translate incoming FAX calls to TIF
files (forwarded through email)).
My target setup is :
PSTN <-- analog--> SPA3102 Line Port <-- SIP --> Asterisk <-- SIP -->

Problem with DHCP and default route in CentOS
I have a CentOS 6.4 VM that is getting its DHCP information from dnsmasq (a
libvirt instance). However, it is not applying the routing information.
Attached is a tcpdump of the dhcpc output. You'll see:
Default-Gateway Option 3, length 4: 192.168.122.1
However, when I run 'route -n', I get:
# route -n

Arp Flip Flops make machine inaccessible.

I have two nics. I just put the second one to DHCP and modified the
ifcfg-et01 and so far I am holding, but I am not confident. Prior they
were sequential IP Addrs on same subnet.
arpwatch has indicated flip flips. I can find no rhyme or reason to
predict them. I know I missed I must have missed a step somewhere.

a VM does not get dhcp
hi everybody
I'm looking at my setup and got stuck
I have a box with two NICs on the same subnet, and another
box similar, also two NICs on one subnet, all four NICs are
on the same subnet.
Now, that second box has also a virtual NIC (libvirtd's
bridge route mode) and VMs guests are using it, traffic to
that virtual net is routed via 1st real NIC. This second box
dhcrelays to the
