TC GUI or graphs?
Hello everybody,
I am new to the lartc mailing list. I have been using "tc" for some time
now. To be precise, tc & HTB to shape traffic. I did a lot of search on
Google for 2 things:
- A GUI to create configure new qdiscs & classes for HTB
- A utility that will graph the data sent through all configured classes or
qdiscs.
I could not find anything. Could someone tell me if a

Imputation with SOM using kohonen package
I have a data set with 10 variables, and about 8000 instances (or
objects/rows/samples). In addition I have one more ('class') variable that
I have about 10 instances for, but for which I wish to impute values for.
I am a little confused how to go about doing this, mostly as I'm not
well-versed in it. Do I train the SOM with a data object that contains just
the first 10 variables

Software Anounce: htb frontend, for multiple hosts auto bandwidth management
Hi all, i''ve coded htb-gen, a GPL htb frontend and much more...
htb-gen is meant to be an easy, scalable, yet powerfull, bandwidth
management tool. You can set up/down portions of bandwith for each
host or network, that goes trough your router/firewall.
Prioritary traffic(web, mail, gaming, ftp, voip, streaming) is
preferred over Junk traffic(kazaa, emule, etc). Also dynamic

Bandwidth Metering
Hi,
How do you meter the amount of bandwidth a user has consumed (as
webhosting companies do) under linux? I have searched everywhere, but
have been unable to find a solution. Apologies if this is the wrong
forum.
Thanks,
Patrick

Old linuxbox as BwM
Hello,
I''m playing with tc, htb, and other QoS features on an old pc I have.
The PC runs, by now, a shrinked version of Debian Woody, with patched
versions of kernel 2.4.18 and iproute in order to support HTB.
What i''m wondering is if with a AMD 100Mhz (stealed from a museum ;-),
16Mbps RAM i can do bandwidth management to 20 network hosts, which
connect wirelessly (not all,

Bandwidth management and ADSL router
Hi All;
I discover that most of the voice cutting complain are coming from the Internet bandwidth when we are connecting two remote offices togethor via Asterisk or any other IP PBX.
Anyone has an idea on a ADSL router that work as ADSL + Bandwidth division? So we can resolve the problem of providing a guaranteed bandwidth for the voice packets instead of suffering the voice cutting?

rsync 2.5.5 SCO Unixware patch
Hello list,
This is a patch to rsync 2.5.5, and it serves two purposes. The small
patches to batch.c, flist.c and log.c simply add "void" to some function
definitions so that all declarations in proto.h have full parameter lists.
unsigned char read_batch_flags() OLD
unsigned char read_batch_flags(void) NEW
The SCO UNIXWare compiler correctly objected to these functions not
