including HTB. My ADSL bandwidth is 256Kbit/s for download and

HTB and prio
Hi,
this is a followup to "Problem with HTB and ceil", the problem with the ceiling
has been resolved, thanks to the memebers on this m/g.
Now I have the problem that packets get into the correct classe with the correct
marks but the prios are not respected. I have 4 different classes:
1. voip class / prio 0 / mark 100 / voip traffic
2. ACK class / prio 1 / mark 200 / ACK packets to

Ingress policing (matching netfilter marks)
Hi,
I''m having issues with policing my incoming traffic by matching packet marks
made by iptables. I''ve checked as many sites and guides as I can find, and I
seem to be doing the exact same thing as they all are, but there''s still no
success. As such, I was wondering if anyone can have a quick look to see if
I''ve done anything obviously stupid?
Essentially, I

Download ratio unstable
Hi, i''m newbie with traffic control. I create a script based in one from
Jason Boxman (thx a lot). the upload flow is prioritized well, but when i
download from a site, the down flow vary a lot from 25 KB to 4 KB. Before
i use this script the downloads are constant between 22 an 25 KB. Perhaps
there''s something wrong in my script ?
I paste it, thx.

Prioritizing interactive traffic does not work
Hello.
In short Linux Advanced Routing & Traffic Control HOWTO''s chapter
15.4. Prioritizing interactive traffic does not help me at all.
I have an asymmetric ADSL connection nominal 64Kbit in / 16Kbit out,
real (based on bulk transfers measures) 256Kbit/26Kbit. First thing I
would like to improve is to keep interactive (ssh) connection fast
even if uplink is full. The test I make

I''ve read ADSL-Bandwidth-Management-HOWTO

and I''ve a doubt from script:

That is a bug ?
I think that " DNS name resolution (small packets) " is better

shaping problems
Hi,
I am using the following script to limit my outbound traffic. This
scipt runs on a box behind my firewall. It limits my outbound passive
ftp traffic to 39K perfectly....just like i want. However, i just
noticed that it is also limiting uploads coming to my server.
Is there something I can change to make it not limit uploads to my server?

PRIO not working?
Hello,
I am using a simple script, which is based on prio. The point is,
that it is not possible to use htb on wifi networks, so I thought that prio
will work fine, but it does almost nothing.
All I wanted was to make the important packets like icmp, games, VoIP,... to
go first, and to slow the things like FTP data transfer, etc.
When I use $TC -s qdisc show dev ${IFACE}, I see, that the
