Need architectural help avoiding render :component
I''m writing a CMS/portal system, and I''m having trouble coming up with a way of routing requests that feels right without using render :component (which I''ve read should never be used). The system works like this: Each user has a set of "pages" which are shown as navigation tabs on the page. The user may rename, reorder, add, or delete pages for a custom

Rails too Active?
I feel the need to protest about a disturbing trend in the vibrant RoR community - name dilution. ActiveRecord is called that precisely because it is that. The name come from Martin Fowler, and it expresses a class which is a database record, only _active_ - that is with methods & behaviors (unlike a classical database record, which is completely passive.) If you look in the

xend.err "Error creating domain: Domain ''name'' already exists with ID ''1''"
When doing "virsh shutdown <domain id>" where, for instance, domain id = 1. It doesn''t actually clear the domain id unless dom0 is rebooted. Then when doing "virsh create vm1" with the vm1 xml file requesting a domain id #1, it gives an error that that domain id already exists. Is there a way to clear the domU id at shutdown/destroy without rebooting dom0?

[PATCH] Each TAP/TUN device name for a HVM guest includes its domain ID.
The TAP/TUN devices are used for connection to a HVM domain, but there is no relationship between each name of the devices and its domain ID. This patch assigns a HVM domain ID to each name of the TAP/TUN devices. Help finding the mode and maximum for a specified 'window' of time series data
I am relatively new to R, so apologize up front for my long question, particularly if there is too much or too little information. I have a large time series data set where each subject's behavior was originally coded on .25s intervals for 3min task. I am trying to determine if the findings are different depending on the coding interval (i.e. Compare .25s to 1s to 5s to 10s). I also need to
