win98 browsing problem across VPN subnets
I have just setup a VPN connection three sites using IPCOP.
Everything seems to be talking ok, apart from browsing the network neighborhood. There are no NT/Win2K/XP servers running on any of the sites, all sites are just running win98 pc's using tcp/ip. I have tried configuring all PC's to be on the same workgroup and setup sharing, but still each site can only see the pc's

Outgoing IP of forwarded requests
I have a linux server with 3 public IPs, and I use SSH tunnelling to connect to each of them.
Let's call them: 1.1.1.1 (venet0:0), 1.1.1.2 (venet0:1), 1.1.1.3 (venet0:2).
When I tunnel using 1.1.1.1, outgoing IP for the public is: 1.1.1.1.
But when I tunnel using 1.1.1.2 or 1.1.1.3, the outgoing IP for the public is still 1.1.1.1.
I've been googling for days, and tried relevant channels

Configuring BIND to answer to two domain names (four IP addresses)
On a CentOS 5 server, I am having a hard time configuring BIND to
answer to 4 IP addresses for 2 domain names.
Currently, I have four IP addresses, for sake of discussion they are:
1.1.1.1
1.1.1.2
1.1.1.3
1.1.1.4
Additionally, I have two domain names. For sake of discussion:
exampleA.com
exampleB.com
My goal is to have 1.1.1.1 & 1.1.1.2 as the nameservers for
exampleA.com, and 1.1.1.3 &

Interdomain trust with different WINS servers
Hi
I am trying to stablish a relation between two different Samba domains. Each
domain has two PDCs, all they are WINS servers, and the two domains are in
different subnets. They are configured to use LDAP as the user/group/machine
database. First, I will create the relation, being DOM1.CORP the trusted
domain, and DOM2.CORP the trusting domain, so in a server of DOM1.CORP, I
create a user this

Basic configuration problem
Hello,
I have been reading through the documentation and trying to set up a very
small VPN as a test for a larger rollout that I would like to complete in
the future but cannot get this working. The configuration seems like it
should be relatively simple, so I'm most likely missing something basic but
I just cannot see what I'm doing wrong. At the moment I am trying to get
this working

MTU and Voice Delay (latency??)
Our users are experiencing some unacceptable delay when trying to have a
conversation. The delay is so noticeable that they keep stepping on each
others words and resort to calling the customers via cell phone.
Here is the setup
SDSL Connection (PPPoA)
Speedtouch 610 SDSL Modem
3Com 2224PWR Plus Switch (phones on separate VLAN)
8 Cisco 796 Phones
All connecting to a remote Asterisk Server.

OT: fail2ban, spam and mail servers
Many of you are interested in and have used or recommended fail2ban
for your linux boxes. I finally installed it on our FreeBSD server (no
asterisk, hence the OT) with the help of a friend from the VoIP Users
Conference and Asterisk community.
After a lot of new learning about regex, I extended the actions and
filters to look at our mail server, plagued by spammers - who isn't?
Our server has

Network Latency
Hiya,
I''m trying to track down some throughput latency that our customer seems
to be attributing to our product, I can''t see what he''s talking about,
but I want to try and get some deeper granularity than I might get with
something like smokeping, and maybe even see if its down to something
tunable on our end.
I''ve been looking for some examples on how

Fwd: Traffic Shaping on a Transparent Bridge not working!
I''m trying to shape traffic on a Devil-Linux box.
This note was originally sent to their maillist,
because the LARTC list appears to have been down
for the past few days. My mailbox was just flooded
with a half dozen or so confirmation requests in response
to my repeated attempts to subscribe to this list.
